Wow, cant believe they did not include Linux support. you can only enter if your using safari/firefox for the mac or pc. weak.

Well they do say Safari/Firefox for the Mac or PC, but did you even try it with Firefox? Unless they are actively sniffing user-agents it should be working fine since Firefox is supposed to be the same browser on all platforms.

"www.me.com"..... Your personalized flashback to dial-up.

The devs have probably gone to bed, and make more attempts in a few hours.

I take it you don't work in IT - when your application / system is down you don't go to bed. I've had to work plenty of 24 hour plus days before.

I'd imagine there are a lot of people running around, typing quickly and holding meetings in the Apple development offices at the moment and there will be until things are 100% again.

Webmail (which is not only a huge feature but also what a lot of us are limited to at work) isn't working. Nor is web editing.

And you're missing the point. When you buy a McDonald's cheeseburger, it might be cheap -- yet you still expect the product to come as advertised and expected: a bun, cheese, meat, and condiments.

All I expect with an Apple product is for it to work as advertised. And MobileMe/.Mac sure doesn't.

GET A GRIP - They are doing a huge system transition and you say the product doesnt work? So they are having issues getting it up and running in the first 12 hours, big ***** deal, wait until it is officially running and then over criticize.

Was just able to connect to mobileme, but when I look into account settings (family pack) I see I still have only 20 gigs of space. (should be 40 gigs)
Anyone else have the same problem?
*Nevermind, guess they're still working on it*

offline again..

wow..steve is going to fire the team..
at least the manager..
or keep the job, no free iphone 3g for you.

They said that it could take up to 10 days for the additional storage space to be added.

If I sign up for a trial today and I get a new iPhone 3G tommorow, can I keep my @me.com name that I'm getting today for the $69.99 price?

And BOOM its down. -shrugs- No biggy to me, push everything seems to be working :) I just wish I could get my mac to auth and sync -.-

Back down. I signed up though. So I get two months free but had to put in my CC info, and they already charged me for it!? I thought they charge AFTER the two months, not now...:confused:

The ***** deal is I've paid for a service that has been unavailable all day. An hour or two - that's fine. All day...that's not.

I would expect some form of remuneration for that sort of downtime - perhaps a free month added on to each subscription.
