I have no sound issues in calls but have other sound problems. In some games, the sound goes up and down by itself which is annoying. Does this also include in their repair program or is this sound issue located in iOS?
I switched to Samsung two years ago and I am certainly not crying. I must admit that there are a few tears rolling down my cheeks but they are caused by my laughter at all of Apple's problems.I just switched from Samsung. Go give it a try and see how it works. You’ll cry to come back…
Driving you to debt, payment issues or even insolvency in the future. If you can’t effort, you shouldn’t buy, my motto. Emergency, health issues and unplanned events will sadly come, you’re not ironman and even iron rust.Respectfully, America isn't like the rest of the world. In America, if you can't afford an iPhone you can sign a contract and get a payment plan for one. That's called freedom. In a developing country, if you can't afford an iPhone you just don't buy one.
Thanks to the magic of freedom, I have a house, a car, an education, a phone, sets of furniture, computers - none of which I can technically "afford". But as long as I keep my job, the economy does well, and I don't have any emergencies or health issues or unplanned events, I get to "have" them. And if that isn't happiness, what is?
So anyway maybe this 2 year repair plan is just designed for the discerning American consumer
Kinda odd that you are still an active member of an Apple community though then. It is like constantly reading your ex's twitter feed.I switched to Samsung two years ago and I am certainly not crying. Nope. It is like watching races for the accidents. In addition, there are a few interesting threads here than have nothing to do with Apple. So kinda odd that you comment on people that you know nothing about.Kinda odd that you are still an active member of an Apple community though then. Surely, people must be dragged to thr office to be able to write decent software.Phones made during that time are ALL still under the 1 year warranty, so fixing the " no sound" issue free of charge is a wonderful concession on Apples part. I have random issues with my iPhone 12 all the time, that I know is software related. Ever since Apple let everyone "work from home" the software is borderline "Microsoft crap"! Pandemic exist, but if it ain't broke stop "fixing" it.
It is funny how people act like the software was perfect before the pandemic and that all the issues are related to work from home. There were more problems in previous releases during regular times.Surely, people must be dragged to thr office to be able to write decent software.
2020 taught us (America) that there's no amount too large to borrow from the future without consequence. We printed 30% of all of the money in circulation in one year, gave most of it to corporations with very little oversight, handed a small percentage over to individuals (with a multiplier if they had low income and many children), and everything is still going great! Stock market is at an all time high. If we have another huge issue we can just borrow even more against the future and nothing bad can ever happen. And if it does, it's the problem of future people and not us.Yeah, let’s pretending 2020 and onwards doesn’t exist.
Not at all! I'm telling people that if they can't afford an iPhone, but they still want one, they can go into debt with their carrier to give Apple money for the phone. In America, not affording something doesn't mean that you can't or shouldn't have it. You just need to find the right way to borrow from your future self - there are many different ways to finance anything that your heart could possibly want.So you are telling people to go into debt to give Apple money while giving less support?
And I thought reality distortion field was just a hyperbole….
Not necessarily - because most of our population is this "irresponsible" with their cash, and because billionaires and corporations care a lot about stability in our country so that we can continue funneling wealth to the elite, if this strategy goes poorly for any one of us then it's probably going poorly for hundreds of millions and the government has to figure out how to bail out the entire country by borrowing from the future, something everyone would support at that point.Driving you to debt, payment issues or even insolvency in the future. If you can’t effort, you shouldn’t buy, my motto. Emergency, health issues and unplanned events will sadly come, you’re not ironman and even iron rust.
I hope you make it, but usually it’s the other way around. It goes well for a few years then you get a hit and more hits follows.
Here in the EU people also love to make contracts for stuff(cars, phones) they can’t effort, not something I like. The “want want want more more more” generation without enjoying what they have and living for the moment.
Hopefully the next one will have the same issue or worse.
No wonder we have so many issues to resolve and nobody has a plan or willingness to tackle. Why? Because of this exact mindset: We ********* up now, and we will leave this to the next generation to resolve.2020 taught us (America) that there's no amount too large to borrow from the future without consequence. Not being disrespectful, but I would hazard to guess that most people don't even think about you, let alone formulate conclusions about you.Interesting. For relevancy... as an iPhone user I suspect most people would conclude I didn't have a life if I regularly posted on a Samsung forum.
I recommend waiting at least two years. Let somebody else pay full price, find out if there are any problems like this with the model and don't buy one of those if there are.So, its always best to wait 8 months before you buy a new iPhone. Got it!
Just like the good old AirPods Pro with the rattling issue. I’ve had three replacements so fa because of a design flaw, but once it reaches 2 years, no more replacements so I’ll be stuck with a a malfunctioning product. Why just two years? The iPhone 12 will be supported longer than that, and component failure means there will be devices that failed much later. If you look at older service programs, Apple was more generous, setting the time period for 4 years or so.
What happened if the component fails after the 2 year mark? Do customers have to pay up for Apple’s QC fault?
