Installation on different computers?

Do the multiple computers (I thought I read up to 5?) you can install this on have to be on the same iTunes account or is this again just a licensing issue?

hello Lion, nice to meet you, always exciting to meet the new cat. Goodbye mister Snow Leopard.

damn 230 posts already? was thinking it would launch at 9am in the east or the west too.

So my install is stuck. Should I just shut off my Mac and turn it back on or is there a better way to restart if I'm stuck on the install screen.

I have a 27 iMac and 3 macbookpro for my family members do I buy 2 copies of lion for that many computers

From a guy i follow on Twitter:

Mac App Store Lion is build # 11A494 while the GM was # 11A511... Apple stores have # 11A511 installed on display Macs

Take it for what it is. I cant confirm this myself.

Finished downloading....50 minutes....

Not going to install as it appears it's the same build as the GM 11A511 which is already installed and running great.

At least now I paid my $29.99!

Started downloading a little after 8am (Central). About half way done. Doing the standard upgrade route. Love new OSX day!!!! Sure has come along way from the free beta of OSX so many years ago. Think I still have that stashed away somewhere.:apple:

Just tried to redeem OS X Lion via the up to date program on my imac that I bought from the Apple Online Store on June 17th but it says the serial number is not found! So annoying. Anyone else having this issue?

Yep me too.

Can you confirm the build no? About this Mac and click where it says 10.7

I have the developer GM installed on my macbook pro and purchased Lion on my iMac running snow leopard. The app store on my macbook shows Lion as "installed" now

Got it all downloaded! Only took about 35 minutes! Very impressed with that. Now I'm burning the install file to disc as a backup, then it'll be time to go all in and install! Sorry for the babbling; but I'm glad this community is around because I learned a lot in preparing for Lion from here. Thanks!

Developer program users:

Move to the trash the existing Lion installer you have in your Applications folder (i.e. the GM version downloaded earlier in July).

Close and reopen the App Store and the INSTALL button on the Lion page will become visible. Click it and you'll download the latest version. No need to pay anything.

That's what I'm doing.
