I didn't say or imply any of what you said. I just indicated they were late and then I made a self-depreciating comment because I have no life.

Not sure how you teased any of the nonsense you wrote out of my post.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to imply that that's what you were saying. I was trying to make a joke about how other people on these forums tend to take any imperfection about Apple and use it to proclaim that doomsday is upon us, contrasting with your very mellow reaction to the delay. I know thats not what you were trying to say personally, and I'm sorry for not being more clear.

Download time went from 3 days to 6hours, so I guess it's an improvement. (1 gigabit connection btw)

How come a trillion dollar company can't handle the load? Saving money on transfer speeds is probably one reason haha
I think it is the watch. All my watch updates have taken 1 1/2-2 1/2 hours.

Question, will this bring the watch face with the additional complications to a series 2 or series 3? Or is that a series 4 only thing?
Series 4 only.

Same here, I deleted the beta profile, restarted my phone and it hasn't come up yet. Should I also be seeing another iOS 12 update for my phone even if I installed the last beta which was the GM? I wonder if thats why nothing is showing in my Watch app...
Nah, you should be good with the GM you have installed now. Try and connect to WiFi and see if it pops up then. That's what I had to do before it finally came up.

Can

Can you post the link here?

Doesn’t seem right for that to be the only way for Beta users to get the app
Can't you just download it from App Store?

ETA: Siri shortcuts show up in settings (Siri and search) without the separate shortcuts app.

Really annoying, let me know if you get it to work!

I got it to work after removing profiles from both the iPhone and Apple watch (under watch app settings/profiles). Then restarting both devices and installing app updates before requesting the Apple watch update.

My WatchOS update is currently downloading on my iPhone (already running iOS 12). Unfortunately it says it is going to take 10 hours. This is down from 27 days and then 13 hours, but seems a ridiculously long time to download 750mb. Does anyone know of a way to speed up this process?

Man I had the 38mm space gray sport series 0 Apple Watch. Loved it and still do although always thought it looked a little small on my wrist. Preorderd space black 44mm stainless steel and a space black link bracelet. Can’t wait to go see the difference from S0 to S4. So excited. Of course link bracelet comes tomorrow and watch comes October 12th. Very excited!!! It took a long time to convince wife for upgrade. All the new heart stuff helped since I recently found I had inherited high bp.

Just updated my Series 3...I saw the Walkie Talkie app for a split second and then it disappeared? Anyone else experience the same issue? I've restarted and hard-reset my watch several times without any luck, does this app need to be activated or turned on somewhere in the options?

I know my Series 0 shouldn’t be getting an update, but I still opened the watch app, and clicked on updates... Bam, watchOS 5! The heck? I checked the model number, and only then did I realize they replaced my Series 0 with a Series 1 last year when the battery got swollen... Thought it was a Series 0 all along... Damn, there goes my vintage.

Anyway, can’t wait to get my hands on the Series 4 (woke up ten minutes late on opening day, shipping date already slipped to Oct 5).
