I’m not having any luck. Deleted beta profile from phone, have restarted both devices multiple times. So frustrating!
I didn’t realize it was a separate app in the store. I thought it would just magically show up after an update, like some of the other apps. Can't you just download it from App Store?
ETA: Siri shortcuts show up in settings (Siri and search) without the separate shortcuts app.
We're just talking about raising your watch to you mouth and saying "hey siri..."? Because I do it all the time with my Gen 1 when I am driving...raise to talk is only on Series 3 and higher
Yea. I'm a bit confused too. But the new Siri shortcuts don't appear to be an app exactly. Instead you access it through the settings app. I'm sure it will become clearer once I've been able to play around with it.I didn’t realize it was a separate app in the store. ahh ok, the new feature you dont have to say hey siri, you just talkWe're just talking about raising your watch to you mouth and saying "hey siri..."? Because I do it all the time with my Gen 1 when I am driving...
No. It's raising your wrist and giving Siri a command without saying "Hey Siri" first. We're just talking about raising your watch to you mouth and saying "hey siri..."? Because I do it all the time with my Gen 1 when I am driving...
What's a "series 0"?Can I install this on a Series 0?

What's a "series 0"?
It can be installed on a 1st generation watch. Anything before that would have to be some sort of internal prototype and nobody here is likely to give you (or be able to give you) an answer.

I'm having similar issues - I have two identical Apple Watch Series 3 LTE's both paired to the same iPhone. One has updated fine (they were both on the beta, as was iPhone), but the second one won't update at all. iPhone is set to auto-switch between the watches (this happens when you put it on and raise your wrist)
The only difference is the one that won't update had LTE enabled (the other is a LTE watch but you can't have two LTE's enabled for a single iPhone)
So to confirm I:
- removed all profiles for watch and iPhone from Watch app and also Settings on iPhone
- restarted watches and iPhone
- had the first Apple Watch on and switched to it on iPhone (then turned off auto-switch)
- put this Apple Watch on the charger and that updated to the release watchOS5 perfectly.
Then I
- Turned off the newly updated Apple Watch
- Switch iPhone to the other Apple Watch
- made sure there were no profiles installed.
- restarted both Apple Watch and iPhone
- Check for software update for Apple Watch - nothing
No rhyme or reason there I'd say. Seems to be just luck of the draw...

P.S.Why do I have two watches? testing...
i updated both iphone x and watch series 4, no walkie talkie app to be found.
cool thingy tho. in the control center on the watch, their is a 'water drop' icon. it forces water out of the speaker(s) with a high pitched sound. neat!
Question, will this bring the watch face with the additional complications to a series 2 or series 3? Or is that a series 4 only thing?
No. It's raising your wrist and giving Siri a command without saying "Hey Siri" first.
