I love TV+. My favorite shows of 2019/2020 were almost all exclusively on TV+ (with the remainder on HBO, like Perry Mason and The Plot Against America).

I wouldn't know what to recommend for you to watch without knowing more of your taste in TV/movies. I personally love thrillers, mystery, sci-fi, and whodunnits, so TV+ has me covered. I enjoy their comedies also. And their docu-series/movies have been stellar as well. Greyhound was a solid movie. Banker too.
Interesting. What are your favorite shows on there?

Servant, Home Before Dark, Defending Jacob, Mythic Quest, and For All Mankind. In that order.

Home Before Dark is like Stranger Things for whodunnits. I love the angle of a little girl solving a mystery which would stump adult viewers like myself.

so let me get this straight...... people are complaining that $14 a month for ATV+, Showtime, and CBS is "too much"????

seriously? You do realize the content cost millions to make, right?

CBS All Access gives you a lot of originals that don't show up on the airwaves. Also, OTA/antenna doesn't provide on demand CBS, or shows from the last 30 years. OTA is only getting you live TV.

If you think CBSAA is something you can get with your antenna, then you're welcome to live with that delusion. The network TV channel is an afterthought for CBSAA.

Point is... I don't think an ad-supported option is too much to ask.

I don't have enough time to watch all the new (and old) content by all the new content producers, so I'm especially not going to pay $10 to each of them to sample there stuff here and there. I get that CBS probably views their content as "top-shelf" and above the ad-supported model, but it seems to me that they'd gain more viewers if they just had a free option that gave viewers the ability to sample, and then if a viewer gets hooked on a show and don't want to see the ads, he/she can upgrade. It's not like CBS doesn't still make money from ads.

I know most of these platforms offer 1 week trials, but in my world, a week-long trial to sample the plethora of content they offer is kind of a joke.

I still don't understand CBS all access being a paid only. I'm not going to pay for something I could get for free with a digital antenna. At least offer a free, ad-supported option.
It’s much more than just daytime and prime time shows, think Hulu, CBS has a good size catalogue. They have $5/ month limited Ad supported tier, most classic shows don’t have Ads. Stick with your rabbit ears

I can confirm that you can use the CBS app with an Apple TV channels subscription. Although it was hard for me to figure it out. I had to google a bit. I don’t think you can watch Champions League through the TV app, so the CBS app is required. If you can watch it on the TV app, I haven’t found out where it is.

For me the trick would be to use the new $9.99 subscription to watch CL games in the CBSAA app. If that doesn't work, I'm definitely less interested. I suppose it is possible, starting next CL season, for those games to be made available as a ATV channel. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Well, to be fair, it would cost millions of dollars to remake Mount Rushmore out of a pile of human poop, but that doesn’t mean I’d want to pay $14 a month for it.

Ya I don’t see why that wouldn’t work at this point. Assuming they don’t take away CBS app access for this bundle.

Might check them out thanks.

That would cost billions actually.

My post is really about the ridiculousness of people saying $14 for 3 channels filled with content is too expensive. Saying 'this is not for me' is different than saying it's too expensive.

I’d be all over this but CBS AllAccess is essentially useless in Canada because its crown jewel, the Star Trek franchises, are licensed to Crave and are excluded from the CBS AllAccess library.
That sucks! I just subscribed to the no-commercial (nearly) version of CBS All Access because AMEX offered a discount for 2-3 months to 7.99. So, at the reduced rate, I figured I'd watch the few (FEW) series on CBS that I find interesting. So far that's only Picard, Evil,...and that's it. I haven't watched the Twilight Zone, and I'm not sure it will be any good. I will probably watch at least 1-2 episodes before I cancel in another month. I just don't see enough new interesting content. And I'm not interested in any of the 17 versions of "NCIS" or "The Good 'x-Whatever'." I don't think you're missing much, I'd just subscribe to Crave! :)

How many actually use and like the content on Apple tv+?

I see their commercials all the time and nothing interests me.
I just watched the free first 2 episodes of Ted Lasso -- and even though I thought it would be horrendous(!) -- I enjoyed them. I will wait until the series is complete before I take my free one week trial and watch the rest. Right now there are only 2 episodes posted, and it looks like they're on a weekly release schedule. The only other show that interests me is Mythic Quest (or whatever it's called). At most I would subscribe for one month to watch these two shows once they're complete.

Strangers With Candy is on CBS All Access! One of the few shows in their Archive that I want to watch and I can't watch anywhere else. Though, the quality looks like DVD. Seriously, 480p.

If I could just get Tucker Carlson I’d finally have a reason to dump cable and eBay my TiVo’s.

I signed up yesterday for the bundle and I can verify that CL news, highlights and replays are definitely available via the CBS All Access "channel" via the TV app. That's great!

BUT! I can't watch the LIVE match that is going on? If I try to watch a live match it takes me to the CBS All Access app where I have to still subscribe. There is no live match to select for viewing in the CBS AA channel, not that I can find. That's not good.

You have to link your appleid and cbs account and use the CBS app to watch the live stuff.
