What’s give a toss mean?.
Don’t give a damn.
What’s give a toss mean?.
Let’s pray the rumor industry leaves Tim at least a single new emoji to unveil at the keynote
And the haters are quick to notice.
No one cares about the names....will sell in record numbers regardless of what it’s called.
Imagine that. He’d be completely shattered!

Hey broc,
How do you define an incredible job?
Playing it safe with products within a known boundary? Products for the shareholders?
Or what about products at the edge?
If you want my opinion, Cook has turned Apple into a safe company. Until he leaves, we won’t see any innovation at the edges of what’s possible.
I’m happy to be proven wrong, but Cook doesn’t have a vision outside of human rights, privacy and known product markets.

Apple doesn’t care how you pronounce it lol. You can say tennis, ten-iz, ten-ez, ten-ice, ten-nees, ten-ess, ten-eez, excess, exace, exeez, exice—whatever floats your boat! People have all kind of accents, it’s cool.I'd rather eat a brussel sprout than have an iPhone tennis.
Fingers and toes crossed leaks are wrong
I don't know if i'll bother this year (again), doesn't mean i'll go to Android.Apple doesn’t care how you pronounce it lol. You can say tennis, ten-iz, ten-ez, ten-ice, ten-nees, ten-ess, ten-eez, excess, exace, exeez, exice—whatever floats your boat! People have all kind of accents, it’s cool.
If you don’t want to buy it because of the name, that’s ok too; Apple’s cool with that. They know you can’t please 100% of the people 100% of the time. They know things like names and notches can be polarizing. But they’re just edgy like that lol. (And Brussels sprouts are yummy!)
If buying a Samsung or other Android makes you happy, go for it! But it would be kind of weird to let what some company whose product you don’t want to buy get into your head about what they name a product you don’t want to buy.
Don’t count on the 2019 models changing that eitherOf the 3 features, the only one I care about is the headphone jack. I don't see the 2018 models changing the equaltion.
This is one rumor I’m hoping comes true. Wireless charging up to 15w would be awesome.yes but the copper qi coil rumor (also, is have copper wires really a feature?! I mean c'mon!)
What bulge?
Numbers. All of the sales numbers.
Tim’s #1 job is creating shareholder value and he’s created $700B of that since 2011. Incredible and unprecedented.
My view is that incredible products make incredible sales, particularly over the long term. He’s done that.
The iPhone X is far better than anything Steve oversaw...not to detract from him...but Apple is getting better.
Everyone wants the next big product. That’s fine. But even the best product in history took years to gain momentum. The iPhone is still that product and has plenty of room to grow.
I will never buy a gold iPhone again. I think within one month of purchasing my 6s, the finish started stripping and handled it with so much care. Bought a case for it and its like it scratched 'within' the case. Yet, my MacBook Pro and space gray iPhone 6s phones I have seen didn't scratch at all.I'm not in love with Apple's newest "blush" gold aluminum color. I feel like the original champagne gold of the iPhone 5s and the 12" MacBook is great and the rose gold addition forced them to consolidate the colors into one. It's ok, and copperish, but still prefer the original.
That said, I feel like the gold tint of the stainless steel is something completely different. It's not quite yellow gold and definitely has some of that blush/copper look to it, but looks nice to me. I'm just tired of the space gray/silver/black/white colors and excited for the gold to mix things up. Here's a better look at it from the FCC leak:

Won’t be upgrading my X, really happy with it, especially the size. Don’t like gold, only ever liked it on my 5s lol
It is just simply wrong and unfair to say “anyone” could do what Tim Cook has done. For starters, it’s never been done until he did it.That was my argument. Cook is directing the company to maximise shareholder value.
Is this what an incredible ceo does or someone who is just playing it safe?
There is nothing wrong with that. But I feel anyone could keep Apple positioned where it is today.

Tim’s #1 job as CEO is to maximize shareholder value, period. No, Tim's job is creating customer satisfaction that results in people assigning the greatest comparative value to Apple products and thus buying, rebuying them even if they are more expensive than the competition ; Apple can this way have both high volume and high margins something that's generally not easy to do. Creating shareholder value is just a byproduct of all of this job.
Apple's stock going up and down has very little impact on Apple's current and future product lineup as it should be.
[doublepost=1535856798][/doublepost]
Yet, I've got a 6s gold and it's still essentially spotless with no case at all.
All the colors are basically done the same way, there is nothing really special about how the gold Apple 6s is made.
That was my argument. Cook is directing the company to maximise shareholder value.

Tim’s #1 job as CEO is to maximize shareholder value, period.
Of course there are strategies to achieve this, but the stock price is his only scorecard...that’s why his comp is tied to it.
I totally understand what you’re saying and agree that Tim’s job is incredibly complex and he has many things to think about, long term in particular.No. that's what a moron CEO does and Cook's no moron.
Running a trillion dollar company with a 90B R&D budget, a portfolio of dozens of bought companies and countless IP that will result in products 5-10 years down the line that will enable Apple to keep its margins and volume leading to extraordinary customer satisfaction and profits is very very very hard to do. Nobody produces electronic devices of the complexity Apple does launched in such volume in a very short time frame. That the Watch, Services and Airpods alone would be fortune 500 companies and yet can't cover the Iphone's revenues tells you how hard Cook's task is.
Managing success is probably even harder than managing to get there, because it's so easy to slip up.
Also, the customer is at the heart of what a CEO must care about; everything else is just a byproduct.

No.
Buddy.
It's actually something that's taught against right now in most MBAs and business schools; it is seen as BONEHEADED. It is a secondary indicator and a highly imperfect one.
Is amazon or Google a better managed company if their stock price is going up much faster than profit or revenue, or even the possibility of those revenues and profits in 10 years?
No. that's what a moron CEO does and Cook's no moron.

Obviously not an Apple videoThank you! I was waiting for someone to post the leaked video.
