Correct, although I’ve never compared it to other similar style wallets. This is my first slim one which has the added benefit of attaching to the phone if required.

Yep that’s pretty convenient. I’ve been using a similar card case as my edc for years so I’m wondering what benefit this wallet provides. So far it’s a cool novelty, but that wears off. It’s also an update, but I’m not in the market at the moment. However it sure is nifty!
Gotcha, yeah it’s awesome to have a slim minimal wallet. I’ve been rolling with one but obviously it’s never attached to my phone. Deciding if the magnetic attaching feature is worth the cost at this time. It’s very nicely made though!
Yeah if you already have one it might not be worth it. I guess that will come down to your own usage needs with regards to the attachment ability. It is nice to have it though...!
Well, as of this afternoon I’m no longer a magsafe accessorizer. I returned the cases and wallet. I just didn’t have the necessary use case. But it’s a very nice item as you’d expect from Apple. Enjoy yours!
Good move. It’s a niche product and for those of us in within that, it’s great. For those outside of that niche it’s a waste of money trying to make something that doesn’t suit, suit.

I initially thought it would be pointless, but it made me re-think what‘s necessary to carry everyday by slimming down my card case, and re-distributing 2-3 cards I use the most to the MagSafe. The wallet is easier to access with only 2-3 cards and now I’m thinking having just 2 cards and couple of folded-up notes/bills.
The MagSafe Wallet is like the Folio, except you can split the MagSafe Wallet off from the phone. The Folio phone case could hold 2-3 cards more, but it was bulkier and you couldn’t separate the phone from card holder.
You notice any difference between the two leathers? I have the wallet and really dig the leather feel, didn’t get it when I tried the red case, and didn’t buy it. Might buy the sleeve.
Had the wallet and black and brown leather cases for a few days. Wallet felt slightly different. Also my wallet’s back felt different from the front. The sleeve is supposed to feel noticeably nicer, more luxurious and supposedly uses better suppler leather. Although there is a thread in the subforum where someone dropped their sleeve and they think it’s some sort of vinyl inner layer. I like the citrus pink!

Just got my leather case today (same set up as you) and what a different in ”attach-strenght” with the wallet from with a naked phone. Super strong.
Oh, so the attach strength of the Wallet is much stronger with Apple's MagSafe Leather case than simply with the Wallet and a naked iPhone?
It’s stronger for sure, but I think some of it has to do with the leather on leather contact. They’re almost “sticky” after a while of being attached together.
How are you putting the cases on? If I put them on bottom first and then snap in at the top, I get the animations while putting top in first is hit or miss.
Good question. I don’t recall exactly but I think the top, starting with the volume buttons then the power button corner then the bottom. I returned them so I can’t test this.
Restart your phone. My animations have stopped once or twice and restarting helped.
Ah possibly. I returned all my magsafe accessories already, but should I own some again I’ll give it a try. Unless of course apple fixes the issue.

So how are people inserting their bank cards into these wallets - the way Apple advises (with numbers facing inwards towards the thumb opening) or the opposite way around with the numbers facing outside?
Im thinking of ordering one today to site on my Blue Silicone case (containing pacific Blue iPhone 12 Pro). Not sure what colour though. Is the blue wallet a good match for the blue case, or would black be better? Cant go to the store in these COVID times...
