Apple Leather Wallet - Order Thread

Thanks for the reply. I am considering the Apple leather wallet because I carry a total of six cards, but only use two (license and debit card), so maybe I can leave the other four cards in my car (Shell Fuel Rewards, library card, emergency credit card, and a Barnes and Noble member card) and grab them only when I need them. I haven’t had cash on me in years.
That is a perfect use case scenario, go for it. Would suggest to use leather wipes often

I got my wallet in black yesterday and it looks gorgeous. I think I'll be one of those that leaves their wallet in their car with most of the not-so-needed-but-I-may-need-it-sometimes cards, and carry an ID + a physical card with me (and one bill just in case, some dumb shops in my country still don't have POS machines smh).
I just think Apple should send a notification when the wallet is disconnected. Something more noticeable than the tiny haptic that does now...
btw guys, I had a shower thought last night: Apple should have implemented AirTag inside their MagSafe wallet, allowing the tag to recharge/keep the charge while the wallet is attached to the phone. That way, if you were to lose your MagSafe wallet, locating it would be easy.

For people that are using wallet with 12 mini, especially naked\caseless: is it comfortable in your experience? I think that I will need to put in three cards (working badge, credit card and driving license) and a 20€ banknote. Share your experience please 
Yeah, I know what you're saying, but I think the issue is at the bottom of wallet is a metal spring loaded clamp so even if you're only carrying 1 card it won't easily fall out of the wallet.
hmmm, with the push slot in the front the wallet could stay on the phone, but I'm fine taking the wallet off the phone to use it. a front push slot would attract lint.
I like the idea of a notification, and if you don't like it you can turn the notification off.
I like the AirTag idea too, but I believe the AirTags are too big and thick at this time for the wallet.
The wallet is in! I love the look but damn if the Mini isn't a chonky boy with it attached.
Do you keep yours attached full time? I was thinking I might keep it in my jacket pocket with my keys but the leather would take a beating as is evident by the couple of marks already on it.

Simple for me - attached when Im away from home, not attached at home, I see no point in it

Can anyone give me an honest review, is this worth it? Considering getting one for my 12, but wasn't impressed with the video reviews. Its such a good idea on paper. Are 3rd party magsafe wallets superior?

I had the mini and apple wallet for a time. With it naked, it felt pretty good. Adds a nice curve to the fit in your hand. Feels substantial, but not negatively. However, when I used the apple leather case and the wallet together, it felt like a short, fat brick—size wise. Didn’t like it at all. Was crazy to me because the phone and case without the wallet felt nice and compact.For people that are using wallet with 12 mini, especially naked\caseless: is it comfortable in your experience? Blue wallet looking great after just short of two months of daily use. Inside I have (starting from closest to the phone) card, card, folded bill, card. I’ve found that this combo makes it easier to slide out the first card, than when I was doing card, bill, card card.

I've noticed the same thing. It didn't take long to get used to the chonk but it was jarring at first. I'm currently using the phone naked with the wallet and it feels pretty great. The combo took a spill from my lap last night and split upon impact, flying in different directions. Thankfully there isn't a single mark on the phone or the wallet from the impact but that sound is the worst.
It is. Holding up much better than the SB and Red, within the same time frame.
Does the Apple wallet stick well to the Apple leather case? The Wallet doesn’t attach well to non-Apple cases, so when I want to use the wallet I have to go caseless - a risky proposition.
iPhone 12 Mini naked with wallet is the best. Tried it with Apple silicone case- it was way too bulky. Felt like a brick.
