Well that's frustrating, I'm in the UK and my order from a few weeks ago won't deliver until 25th November, but people can walk into a shop and pick one up :-|

I know doesn’t seem right. Does now give you time to see real world reviews and then you might change your mind and cancel

Always the case with a lot of stuff from Apple unfortunately, I did order online originally and my delivery date was the 2nd December!

I ordered on the 16th and have an estimated delivery between Nov 4th and Nov 11th.
Hopefully it will arrive soon.

..this is a quick demo of how weak it is:

...that's because half the wallet is already in his pocket when he's doing the up and down motion so of course its not gonna come off.

The point is, is that when the wallet is wholly not in the pocket, then it will come off!
Not saying people won't use it like this, but the way he is inserting it into his pocket is the worst case. He literally butts the end of the wallet up against the pocket, then shifts his hand to push down directly on the phone. This "shearing" is the easiest way to dislodge any magnet. The safest way is using your pointer finger over the end of the phone to open your pocket, which would also stop the edge of the wallet from catching your pocket. This reduces accidental missing of the pocket too.

So many drama queens here. Another non-issue. Stretch your pocket out to fit your hand as you’re putting your phone in. Or put your phone in facing forward.
Based on MKBHD's video alone, stretching your pocket or putting your phone facing forward won't do anything with how weak that magnet is.

He is showing a worst case scenario. But when you're quickly leaving the house or taking out your phone while outside its bound to happen. Unfortunately, I have a feeling its going to happen just often enough to make it be annoying. I'm going to give it a try but my bar is set low after that video.

Based on the MKBHD review, this sounds like an awful product to me unless you don’t mind your wallet falling off your phone when putting into a pocket.

I’m guessing this is also cheap leather since the wallet only costs $60. I’d rather use my Hermès wallet instead of spending $60 on cheap leather and potentially losing my cards/ID.

Looking forward to additional reviews but doesn’t sound promising.

It looks better than I thought in that video. You can slide the wallet off easily from the phone and eject the cards through the hole in the back.

If you have tight pockets, maybe not the best, buy baggier pants lol.

Just picked up mine from the Apple store. Some thoughts:
- The Baltic blue matches perfectly with the pacific blue 12 Pro and plum silicone case
- The original card filler that Apple has inside the wallet was almost impossible to push out.
- Takes 3 cards max. You can try to squeeze a 4th one in but it won’t sit flush with the other cards
- Magnets are strong. I didn’t have any concerns about it falling off even when I shake it.
- No issues putting it in and taking it out of my pocket. I’m wearing board shorts today. Tried it on the work pants and no issues with the wallet detaching either. But those are not skinny jeans
- It seems to stay on better on the silicone case than the naked iPhone itself. Probably not due to the strength of the magnets but the actual friction between the leather and the silicone vs leather against the glass back.

Like all other leather cases for the phone, it’s obviously not for everyone. But if you want to carry a few cards with you and not take your wallet for some quick shopping or go for a walk, this is pretty good for it.

It obviously adds some bulk to the overall package of the iPhone 12 Pro and if you pair it with the 12 Pro Max the whole thing will be monstrously big, thick and heavy.
