I did not know that installing Itunes was a prerequisite for MacRumours.

but the fact is that more than 32 apps should be ready to go on Day 1.
This seems to be a recurring theme with Apple since Apple was born....

Looks like my retina update didn't make the deadline. Bummer, I was really hoping to make the iPad launch.
Good thing that's what happened, then.
What? Have internet posters completely misread an article and then blame Apple for that?
Yeah, it does seem to be recurring...
That link is misleading - it leads to a "download Itunes" link, not to a page about "The new Ipad" apps.
I hope, now that the iPad's resolution rivals that of desktop displays, we start to see apps that, once purchased for the iPad, are downloadable in a form for desktops at no extra cost.
Yeah...I hear ya...I'm sure fanboys here will reply/scream "but it's not even released yet!!!!" but the fact is that more than 32 apps should be ready to go on Day 1. Out of the tens of thousands of apps (and yes, I know not all NEED to be retina-quality), we have a whopping 32. I was really expecting at LEAST 100 on launch day of iPad 3.0. This seems to be a recurring theme with Apple since Apple was born....release something new/cool/exciting and have almost nothing 3rd party ready to launch with it.![]()
Works for me..![]()
It's just 32 highlighted apps. There are a lot more already iPad apps approved for retina and hundreds if not thousands more apps in line to be approved.Yeah...I hear ya...I'm sure...blah...blah...blah
Twitter is already updated. Facebook will take a real long time as they always do I bet. They have some secret beef with Apple.
Their beef with Apple is a secret? I thought both said have been pretty obvious with their disdain for the other.
where is facebook and twitter already?!
Twitter is Retina Ready, Facebook still don't.
Tweetbot for iPad is also Retina Ready.
32 apps. Hmm.
