Apple Makes More iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Stock Available to Upgrade Program Members

I didn't even check to see if mine was hooked to a store. I just check 'reservations' and its there.

Figured it out. The iPhone with the app is signed into my original iTMS account, but when I got pushed to safari to reserve the phone, it used my iCloud (which was migrated from .mac). Signing into the iCloud account for the "stores" on the phone showed me the reservation. Phew! Thankfully it's the model I want. I'll drive the extra 30min! Don't want to mess with this anymore.
 
Thanks for clarifying. This BS from Apple now means a drive to a store way out of the way. Not a killer, but why not tell us to stand by for added online stock, not imply we would be getting a custom personalized fix?

He did say he would call me back. But it just sounded like he may be checking the stock on my behalf.

Needless to say I'm very unhappy I was told that I had one reserved and now come to find out I don't.

I woke up to the email from Apple this morning. I was able to jump on and get reservations for myself and girlfriend at a nearby store for the black iPhone 7 Plus 128GB on AT&T at 1pm. This will be a nice birthday present to myself!

Also, immediately after making the reservation you won't be able to go in and see the stock that is available again. So those that aren't seeing some stores or models available, this could be why.
 
Anybody have them tell you 2-3 weeks have a reservation or anything show up for the order? That's the time frame I was told but have not received an email or anything confirming.

Well, in the previous thread there is discussion that the Exec Team is still saying that 'personalized' (my term, not theirs) reservations will be created and we don't need to make one from the added stock. Don't know what to believe.

Me, I've made one anyway and if I get notice back later that I have a more convenient one at my closer store, so much the better.

I wanted Sherman Oaks for a matte 256 AT&T +. Ended up reserving at The Americana in Glendale. A friend of mine was able to get the same model at Sherman Oaks, though. They just redesigned that store, too, was looking for an excuse to go! ha.

I was in the camp where I could't get my iPhone reserved. I checked this morning in my city (San Diego) and there is now stock available for most colors (except Jet Black) and sizes. I was able to reserve mine for pick up on Friday (I wanted a regular black). This is very encouraging and I am impressed by how quickly Apple resolved this issue. That's why I love this company.

UTC or Fashion Valley? I'm going to be in SD this weekend, so I might try to swing by those stores and exchange if I don't end up getting my number one choice up here.

Penn Square- Completely out of 128 and 256
 
I had to submit my upgrade via the form in the email. My phone was serviced and replaced by apple (with the applecare+) and it no longer recognizes the serial and IMEI number as eligible for upgrade. They have been trying to fix this since last Thursday prior to the reservations going up with no luck. It has not been an easy process for me that is for sure and I hope to see the "Your phone is ready for pick up" email come Friday if not sometime next week would be nice.
 
Add me to the list of folks that got the email and were able to reserve a 7+ black/256 for pickup on Friday in NH. Apple came through for me at least. I wanted the 128, but will "settle" for the 256.
