Can't stop staring at the text runts in these paragraph layouts. Apple has gotten extremely bad about this in recent years on everything from collateral to dialog boxes. It's lazy. Oops I mean it's
lazy.

2 Apple Maps features that would allow me to completely get off Google:

1) The ability to easily add multiple destinations, so I can plan a route with more than one stop. It's fine from point A to point B, but Google makes it easy to go to plan several stops in one trip. I am rarely going to only one place when I get on the road. This seems like a no-brainer.

2) The ability to easily change or modify a route. On Google I can click and drag the route, place stop points, etc. This is super helpful when planning a custom walk or bike route. It calculates distances too, so I can see if it's long/short enough.

I haven't figured out a way to do either with Apple. If anybody knows how, please let me know. It's not intuitive, regardless.

The first thing is easily possible in iOS 15. Start navigation to the final destination and then tap “Add Stop”. It’s still quite limited though as you basically put the final destination on hold.

One of Napoleon Bonaparte's methods of leadership. Give gifts as rewards for distinguished service, thus motivating his men to fight harder, be more loyal. "You call these medals and ribbons baubles; well, it is with such baubles that men are led."

These gifts have little monetary value, but have great emotional value. That is motivation for the Map team to do an even better job.

As someone at the foot soldier level, this sort of thing would be enough to motivated me.?

Most importantly, this costs next to nothing to the corporation.. As opposed to a real reward like monetary bonus, stock options or paid time off. So very clever from a corporate perspective..

My company does a similar thing where employees can gift each other a small amount of "thank you" credits on a website.. If you accumulate enough of those credits - you can buy something from a gift store with them. None of this adds up to anything of a tangible value, but people go nuts for these sorts of things.

It’s not possible that I can see, that’s the one thing I want, and for Siri to stop being worthless.

It’s not possible, the only destinations I can add are restaurants, gas, etc, can not add a home unless I stop the current route and enter the new one so no, it’s not ?

Apple map is better than Google map on iPhone now. But hope it add offline map download.

Not sure how others feel, but apple maps has gotten pretty good where I am. I even had a situation where I was trying to determine an address for work by clicking on the location and apple maps gave the correct address while google maps did not.
I have the rare issue with Maps directing me to turn left on a road where I can only turn right, but that's about it.

In Brazil, Google Maps is still king. Many features available in Google Maps are still not available in Apple Maps, like: street view, transit, 3d view (flyover), bicycle routes. Also, many locations are misplaced. It will take YEARS to get better, specially cause Google Maps has street view in several small brazilians cities.

You’re right. I thought there was a search bar now, but there isn’t.

Oh Apple, good job at patting yourself on your back. But reality is Apple Maps is still useless in majority parts of the world. It’s not about how pretty the app or maps look, it’s about the local destination and routing. Apple need to send or hire local teams worldwide wherever iPhones are sold for actual mapping, not just sitting behind Cupertino desks.

Only time I will use Apple Naps is when they will add offline maps functionalities. Right now I mostly use MapsMe.

Really? New Zealand is quite a long way from California, and Apple Maps works perfectly here.
That may be an exception given that NZ is a part of the common wealth and high income.

What about Papua New Guinea?
