On the contrary, it's a very common name, e.g. automotive industry...

This name is very common, not something that Apple just thought of, e.g. automotive industry...

Quit confusing the poor troll with facts. It's cruel to ruin their day.

I would go for that colour, maybe next year?

I'm assuming "jet" in this sense means "extreme". So "extreme white" or "extreme black".

Jet when referring to black refers to a mineral, with white you could stretch this and say it refers to the paint on an airplane.

Amazing how ignorant some people are. The word "jet" when used with black refers to the gemstone (which is black). If this color is released, it will not use "jet" as an adjective - it makes no sense!
In the U.K. saying certain colours are Jet something sometimes means it is the purest strongest version of that colour. "That guy in the jet blue car" - meaning very blue (like royal blue). It's not comparing to a Jet aeroplane which is a common misunderstanding.

I'll take any color at this stage as long as it has black bezels. I tried the white bezel thing and it just doesn't work for me.

Actually, it does (in reference to airliners), and it's been done before as has been said. Hell, it's even defined as a paint color http://www.behr.com/consumer/ColorDetailView/QE-01

I had no idea.

I felt like they'd come out with this for the anniversary phone, as the white is classic Apple.

I'm holding out for ceramic.

I have the ceramic Apple Watch, and at first, I was concerned that it might look too girly, but with the two leather bands of Blue and Gray (taupe color), it looks great. Also, it's a tad lighter which is nice and helps with comfort Besides, I use leather cases for all my Apple gear, so the amount of exposed white color is minimal. The ceramic is a great alternative and may prove to work better with newer sensors that could be problematic with metal alloys.

but but but it's suppose to be the iPhone 8 for the tenth anniversary.
sorry to burst your bubble, its going to be called the 7s.

Look, Apple, just cut to the chase: Include a box of Magic Markers with every iPhone (or charge $49 for the set of 12 colors), and let the user come up with their own color.

What a waste of resources, while the Mac division languishes into oblivion and Dongleland ("You must have 3 UBC-3 dongles to use this ride").

I'll take a Jet White iMac with with Kaby Lake i7-7700k, AMD RX 480 and TB3/USB-C, and an updated Magic Keyboard with a TouchBar.
