Seems late and since they didn't announce it previously - hard to see them doing this.

BTW, Apple still doesn't have 7+'s and Series 2 watches in stock here in the U.S. and its November now.

On the contrary, it's a very common name, e.g. automotive industry...

This name is very common, not something that Apple just thought of, e.g. automotive industry...
Uh, whaaa? I've never heard of a car in Jet White. To be fair, the number of things I've never heard of could probably fill every NFL stadium, but yeah, no. No Jet White car color. Can you provide an example of a car in Jet White?

Yours is a common misunderstanding about ceramic. Why do you think Apple can offer ceramic on the watch when a watch is frequently struck against hard surfaces?
Because it's a smaller, more rigid structire than the large slim form-factor of the iPhone.
The same way a dinner plate is easier to break than a salt shaker. </analogy>

I can believe this as Apple has traditionally been fond of white. Maybe they can get it ready for the holiday shopping season.

I don't doubt for a second that some kind of pure white version will come out. They already did that in the Apple Watch Edition Series 2.

I highly doubt that Apple would just launch it at some random time before the next generation product launch.

Not bad, does look very clean and is probably not so prone to scratching as the jet black one.
It's probably just as prone to scratches, however, due to the nature of the color it might be less obvious.

I'm still waiting on that blue color that was rumored earlier this year. So what would that be named, then? Jet... blue?

Jet Blue.

O wait.

so.....another color Apple will be out of stock on?
This!! They launched about 60 days ago and still do not have a single 7+ in stock here in Arizona at least ar any of the Apple stores and if you want to order it online it's anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks, unreal.

Also, guitars.

Can you point to a guitar in Jet White? edit: nevermind. Superhai actually found a guitar in Jet White. It's that color below; basically ivory.

Actually, it does (in reference to airliners), and it's been done before as has been said. Hell, it's even defined as a paint color http://www.behr.com/consumer/ColorDetailView/QE-01

I had no idea.
That color is basically ivory. I seriously doubt Apple would be doing an off white color. It literally doesn't even look white.

That's my thinking. While I think if you're gentle with your phones they tend to wear gracefully, shiny black electronics is just a magnet for either fingerprints, scratches or both, and you have to be willing to live with it. The white would definitely pique my interest, as I've personally always preferred the white ones (and come to think of it, white electronics in general—I love my white Xbox One.)
