Please fix iOS, macOS and hardware first, and then go focus on glasses without making a spectacle of yourselves

As for the AR glasses: Pass.

Just gonna leave this here.
It’s like visiting certain tech magazine sites without ad blocker turned on.What in holy hell... This is beyond obnoxious, like being trapped in a video game arcade or pachinko parlor. Hopefully Apple's implementation would be a lot more peaceful and relaxing. This is full-out assault on the eyes and ears.
Apple breeding the next generation of glassholes
A gimmick bound to fail in my opinion. We shall see.
It would be funny to have to upgrade my glasses every year. My last upgrade was 4 years ago.

I like the idea of using this when traveling abroad, but I’m most excited to see what augmented reality can do on a windshield in a vehicle.

Apple has several years to change people’s minds. Including mine. When smart glasses and smart watches first appeared on the scene, I was pretty sure I didn’t want either. I had a chance and the funds to order Google Glass but I passed. I hadn’t worn a watch in 15 years, so I didn’t care about that either. For many, that was the consensus on the first iPod and iPhone.
The iPhone was compelling from day one. Not mature by any means, but compelling. Like a moonshot. Fifty years at least before human interplanetary travel became a reality, but that didn’t stop it from being exciting. You know it’ll be at least 3rd/4th gen before it’s anywhere near compelling technology though, so still a decade off from being excited yet![]()
