Im soooo sick of these virtue signaling posts. Say that to the people with an iPhone 7 that's barely hanging on. I have an iPhone X that is working fine so I can wait, but some people are excited. Its ok to be excited for something during a pandemic....dang.
I'm barely hanging on ? iPhone 7 ios 14 new battery health 100% new change. I don't like face login nor android back. Want to play games I got iPad mini 2019 for it.

As long i got 1 day battery life is okay for me. Yeah android phone got 5k mah but i like small phone.

This is so Apple lol! Let's release the 6.1" (less popular because the size is almost 2 years old) regular and pro model first then release the more popular 5.4" and 6.7" ( New sizes meaning higher demand) later in this way anyone who is not willing to wait an extra month can be the first to get the phone but get the less popular size or wait till later and get the more popular sizes. Haha yup nailed it.

Any rumours as to what port they’re going to have? I’m hoping to go all USB C cables before 2021.

Because the pro doesn’t come with promotion I’m kinda not as excited now
But just wait. As soon as Mr. Phil Schiller comes up on stage and show you the device you will still run to your wallet to see what card you might use or check your funds in the bank lol! ( I just described myself by the way lol)

I think the 6.1” will be the better seller in both the regular (vs. the 5.4”) and the pro line (vs. the 6.7). In other words, the 5.4” and the 6.7” will be the 3rd and 4th best sellers, behind the 1st place 6.1” iPhone 12 and the 2nd place iPhone 12 Pro.

So to me the rumor is believable.
I don't agree with the 5.4" being the 3rd best seller. In my opinion it will be the 1st place. Finally people like me have a small option again, that is not as ginormous as all iPhones after the 1st Gen SE. It is the most interesting one out of the bunch for upgrading in the same/smaller size category for everybody still running something pre iPhone X and who doesn't want to compromise on the SE2 with outdated display, camera and bad battery life.

As much as I love having largest phones ( planning to get the 12 Pro Max) I do have to agree with you that the 5"4 iPhone will be the most popular and hardest to find iPhone.

I’m so happy the Pro is being offered in 6.1”.

I disliked the size of the X, and really like the size of my XR. After owning a few Note’s, not really interested in a 6.7” phone, too giant.

Not trying to be funny, the iPhone 11 Pro Max with 512 gigs of storage is $1449, the new model will have a larger screen and 5G that apparently costs Apple more money to incorporate and if they do a 1tb option it will definitely be close to $2,000
But wait… no headphones, so you can shave $29 off the price, it will be $1970, right?

The size lineup does not make sense to me. Let me explain... We currently have 5.8" 11 Pro, 6.1" 11 and 6.5" 11 Pro Max. Going as big as possible for the Pro Max is a great idea. Going bigger on the Pro is not! There are many people who dislike the 11 size (6.1") because it's too big for their hands and it feels too heavy. I don't see Apple risking the loss of this huge market (mostly women!) and pushing them to go for a small phone (5.4") with less features - camera - but a much lower price ($300 less) with less margin $. On the other hand, a 5.4" Pro would make a lot of sense and have the advantage of keeping the 5.8" Pro market and grabbing some of the low margin $ SE market.
In summary, I'd rather see a 5.4" 12 Pro, a 6.7" 12 Pro Max and a 6.1" 12 (same as the previous XRand 11, no need to retool anything).

When Macrumors writes these articles, I really wish they’d lead with the fact that they’re sourced from the BS factory at Digitimes rather than saving that fact until several paragraphs in.

Tell me right away that your source is one of the most consistently inaccurate sources in all of tech so I know to stop reading.

If the 6.1” phones come out together first, then it may not be the iPhone 12 Max branding for the non-pro version as some leakers have said

would be confusing to public

iPhone 12 Mini
iPhone 12
iPhone 12 Pro
iPhone 12 Pro Max

Works for me. That is the model I would have gone with anyway, especially if it comes in that dark blue shade that was teased earlier.
