We were just given OSX Mountain Lion, Is that not enough to hold you over for even a week? I'm still enjoying the newness of it on my 2011 MacBook Pro. I guess you can't please everyone around here. :cool:
 
Hope they bring something really good. Will be hard, but it's possible to make me regret dropping the iPhone for the S3.

Great call. I am buying a T-Mobile plan as soon as my contract with ATT is up at the end of October! Unlocked iPhone. Cheaper Bills. No Contract. Yes.
 
Considering switching to Verizon from AT&T.

What happens when a VZ LTE phone is not in a LTE area? Does it fall back to 1mbps 3G without simultaneous talk and surf?

Apple to iMac customer : sir we cant cast imac and all that other crap in our next movie, why dont u keep checking our website to see if we change our mind and bump up some specs:D

also computers aint bringing us our fix, so would u like to order our new retina ipad?

Sir we are a consumer company, it offends us when customers like u get exited about computers n other junk:D

When the 4S was coming out ATT wouldn't let me early upgrade. It was the first time they did this to me. I called a few times and every time I was shot down. They did give me a discounted price, but I didn't get the full upgrade price. I was told since I wasn't using an upgrade it wouldn't extend my contract. That turned out to be a lie. Buy the phone, plug the phone in, never sign anything, and somehow the contract gets longer.

I was thinking the same thing. Everyone's been like, "they can't announce the new iPhone to early, it will cannibalize sales".

Listen, this story has spread today like wildfire throughout every tech site worth half a crap (including the better ones, like MR), probably just about every major news site and will probably grace the cover of USA Today in the morning (just like the iPad mini news made front page).

Anyone that remotely gives a crap about mobile technology and Apple products will put their purchase on the skids when they discover this. I believe we will see a sudden downfall in sales within the coming weeks OR we are going to see more deals (ala Best Buy $49 4S) coming for current models to clear some inventory. It's coming, just wait a bit.

The iPhone is first...wait for it...a PHONE. And like the one user posted, it's designed at that form factor for a reason...single hand/thumb usability.

If you want something bigger, the iPad Mini is coming...

...Otherwise -----> Samsung/Google is that way.

BTW...people holding a Galaxy Note and even some of the Galaxy phones look silly...giant bricks against their heads.

Anyone think there will be a separate october event for the TV, ipod or imac redesigned? Think apple did this 2010 with june iphone 4, september ipod, then the macbook air redesign in october.

This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. OSX Mountain Lion has everything to do with the Mac, and absolutely nothing to do with a retina display iPad. Heck this thread was even about a possible launch date for the new iPhone, not even the iPad. :rolleyes:

I feel your pain, however the iMac mantra is not going to make :apple: release it anytime sooner.

Chances are it will have a silent release, nothing ground-breaking to look forward to.

not his fault, today everyone has blog,

every one in china has NOKIA, every nokia has a VGA cam, hence pictures can emerge:D

tim fired 13 people who leaked idevices parts on youtube with spy music in the bg...sadly they all looked same so he later found out he fired the wrong people :D
