But when the SGSIII has those same features it's "the best phone on the market"?
Anyone who has used this phone would DEFINITELY not say it is the best phone on the market. I used one, it was kinda cool, but has seemingly endless bugs and hiccups and a weird design that doesn't allow you to use it with either one hand or two hands.

Physical or the software?

Really, you're not meant to upgrade from a 4S this soon.

I have a bit of a unique situation. I am eligible for upgrade every year (2 phones on family plan staggered by a year). If I want, I can get the new phone, then pass mine down to my wife. We then pass her phone to her sister. Everyone gets a new phone, everyone is happy.

So, I predict pre-orders start Friday, September 14 and release date is a week later on Friday, September 21... at least i hope. I have Sept. 14 off work and can devote early morning hours before heading to the gym to pre-ordering a new iPhone! :D

And iOS 6 release on sept 19

Cool story, bro.

Can't wait. My 4's home button and top button barely work anymore. Wife is also finally upgrading to an iPhone too :)

It would usually be ideal to pre-order, but this year is different. At least in my opinion. With the parts that have been leaked so far, the phones won't be all black or all white, so I'll most likely wait until I can see them both in person at an Apple store and make my decision on which color to get. I just don't believe pictures will do it justice.

Ill laugh when it comes out with the weird stretched screen and all the moaners buy it anyway and say how amazing and innovative apple is.

Someone looks insecure about his choice of phone. If your Android phone was that superior and you knew it, you wouldn't need to troll like this would you?

Our own sources have confirmed that date, and multiple websites have similar reports as well.

I can't stand The Verge. Not only is it a pretentious name for a website, the people who work never seem to give credit where credit is due — particularly when they are scooped (which they almost always are).

"Multiple websites have similar reports..." just doesn't cut it.

MacRumors, on the other hand, always credits where they get their news. Kudos to Arn and his crew.

Doubling down doesnt mean 0 leaks...it means about half as many leaks.

I would disagree. Last year there wasn't half as many leaks as there has been this entire month.

I think because the iPhone has gained so much demand and popularity in the marketplace over the past couple of years, news outlets and sites would pay so much money to Foxconn and iPhone supplier employees to gain even a fraction of information, or as we seen earlier today, a 'leaked' casing of the new iPhone.

Great. Can't wait until the second in a row underwhelming iPhone roll-out is upon us.

They'd be better just releasing the same size phone with LTE and better processor. But no, they'll make it more difficult to hold and ugly it up with a widescreen format.

You can defend Cook if you want, but in my mind there is no way in the world Apple should be cutting corners and making small screened phones to save money. They have 100 billion in the bank and look to be about to sacrifice brand appreciation to make a couple extra bucks per phone on a 4 inch screen when they could have gone with a competitive one.

Yeah, I know, 1/2 of you on here would cream your pants over a 2" iPhone if they told you it was better, but for the rest of the world we'll just move on.

It won't solely work on LTE. With T-Mobile's network re-farm, you'll be able to buy the new iPhone unlocked and have it work on T-Mobile; sans LTE.

Imho, Apple will not officially support the US T-Mobile network until they secure a lucrative multi-year subsidy agreement for post-paid iPhones first.

While I find it interesting that you can't make your point without insulting those who don't agree with you, I have one thing to say, "Bye!"

They won't have to. They already support AT&T's network. After T-mobile finishes with the re-farming, any phone that works on AT&T will work on T-Mobile, including the iPhone.

How far along are they? Hopefully sooner rather then later.
