I really like it. I find it easier to navigate and it makes more sense structurally. But it doesn't seem finished though. E.g. the iPod should probably be in the top menu. Also, it would be nice to have more direct links to the refurb store.

Holy crap well done Apple for making your website responsive! Welcome to 2010!
All website are responsive - that's the job of the browser.

You mean Responsive, ie: poor experience on your desktop as it's 'designed' for a tablet. Poor experience on a tablet as your tablets browser features are locked out and your experience is dictated by the website design. Its a running joke within the industry.

* At least Apple seem to have implemented Responsive Design better than most. You can still at least zoom areas of the page.

Remember when Apple products simply "just worked"? Now it's "What's this do?" & "Where's the thing that was always here?" Is that a clipboard, roll-on or what? It appears style is edging out function both here, iTunes, Music... just about everywhere.

I miss the old Apple. The one that just worked.

I agree with you to 100%!
By the way, I think normal consumers also start noticing that apple products don't just work anymore the way they used to. It's not just us enthusiasts spending time on an apple related forum. This may actually turn out really bad for Apple if they don't get their **** together soon!
If not, well, then Apple loses one of their major selling points and what people are looking for when buying Apple. Hassle free, no more.

It's a webpage.

People still think webpages are a huge deal. This is not 1995 anymore.

It's a webpage.

No need to say more.

Locating accessories is somewhat more difficult, however, with the removal of the central store site and the lack of dedicated store sections. Accessing accessories is largely done by visiting the main product sections and clicking on banners like "Accessories for Apple Watch" and "Accessories for iPhone."

Disagree.

There's a link called 'Accesories' at the bottom of the main page.

Wow, I mean this site is useless now. I mean, if you want to buy an iPhone, you have to hit the iPhone tab! Too much work. Did you know, if you wanted to buy a Mac, you'd need to click on the Mac tab!!

Guys, this site really is useless and takes way too much time to navigate around.

Everything is there. Some people have to moan about every-single-thing Apple does.

That's why most of them come here. All the regular trolls with nothing productive to do. Like flies at a picnic, you just know they'll be hanging around ready to spread their germs.

How do you navigate to the refurbished section from the www.apple.com main page?

It's at the footer of each and every page, as with every other dumb question asking "where the hell is...". Does someone need to hold your hand to go to bathroom too?

They still do. I mean, have you looked at the competition? Apple's design (hardware, software, UI, presentation) is as sharp as it has ever been. Yes, they are in the middle of a look-and-feel paradigm change and for some people might have difficulties coping with change. But the core of the Apple is still functional aestetics — that hasn't changed a bit.

Great, this is an improvement. Their website is a little simpler and more coherent now. Good job Apple.

Are people really challenged by a separate store site?

That's what I was wondering. Either way, I have a link stored that takes me directly to the refurbished store and that still works. Perfect. The new website is, well, fresh looking but rather uneventful.

Agree with your comments. I certainly believe Apples head is more in the clouds than ever before - running off the success of the past decade.

I feel they should get back to basics and what matters, building products that work and function, all the time - and not create crazy products like the new Retina MacBook.

I like Tim Cook, but I just feel he wants to put his name in the hat for the next president of the USA with all this social and world issue talk lately...

That's a shopping bag? Why not use a cart or basket, icons that everyone knows what they mean?
because then it would be more than a square with a tiny half-circle on top, and the web designer wouldn't be able to jerk it to how minimal it is.

I've read MacRumors forums for many years. Some things never change.

I seriously believe that Apple has too many users, it would be better if they had a tenth or something. Why? People are lazy and don't like change, despite the fact that nine times out of 10 it is for the better. And Apple is all about change and pushing things forward, bringing high tech and high products that were decades away to the masses. In fact, it's insane how many of these users are on MacRumors.

Read the original iPhone thread. Read the original Apple watch thread. It's exactly, word by word, the same kind of posts and the same feeling: What a failure! What a stupid product! Only fanatics will buy this! What a cheap product! I miss 10.3!

Heck, read the original SL thread: What a useless OS! Paying for no features? Apple lost it completely! Microsoft won't save them this time! I miss 10.1, it is all downhill from there!

I think that the voting system does a bad job. Apple "haters", the true fanatics, are all always around and ready to be a vocal minority, upping each others posts, ready to up vote anything negative.

Anyway, thanks for the good people (like me) that rarely play this game and instead frequent the forum sections in order to help, get help and heck, discuss some great things Apple does. To the others: Why don't you GTFO and choose what is best for you, instead of waisting time b***ing and moaning? There's more choice than ever! (Android, Windows, all valid choices) It's not like 90% of those users have anything factual to add or discuss.

Clearly there's room for criticism (Music could be better, 2012 MBP for sale, TN panel on the MBAir, 8 or 16GB), but that's just 1% of the users. The rest is noise.

We are many users that Love and use daily Apple products but that does not mean that a bad design is not a bad design. This is new and fresh but is a step backwords in how a store should be set up if it want sales. Yes, lazy is good. You want something? Here it is. Instant sale! No, you do not scroll and scroll to look to go treasure hunting for a link that wishful thinking is somewhere(!), it should be right there for you. This is not a store it's a shopping window that every product is crammed into as fresh as you please.

An exemple if you allow me to set the stage here. I don't think it's good to walk up to the entrance of a store in the mall and reach for the door to have it labeled with a sign "in the name of fresh you old geezer you have to go round the shopping mall and enter through the alley from the back, we do it different here. Here is a bag to but over your head. :)

I for one think democracy is a better system but that is me. :)

For our critic is not negative critic but positive critic how we see Apple doing better and working for us. Thing is we can be the masses of users and prospective shoppers in this case that is the silent majority. You don't know otherwise until after the scale balance from all votes and shoppers in Apple web store, be that in the next quarter Apple report.

"We redesigned Apple.com knowing that our customers want to explore, research and shop in one place," said an Apple spokesperson in a statement.

Wow! But does he know that iTunes store is a nightmare? I bought an iTunes giftcard to give to my brother who lives in another country. Itunes refused the card because it's not the same country! Great. I want to buy spanish movies from iTunes Spain. Forbiden, my creditcard is not from Spain! Thank you apple. I want to buy books in iBook France because I cannot found them here. Forbiden, my iTunes account is not from France.

Please, allow us to buy anywhere in any iTunes Store, we speak, travel, live and have friends in many countries. Lock iTunes account to one country is stupid in 2015.
