I think the team that developed "Podcasts" app must have been reassigned to the ML-up-to-date project, and brought their usual level of compatency.
No kidding!

I'm aware. I'm eligible for up-to-date so i don't want to buy ML.This code stuff has nothing to do with you buying Mountain Lion. The code is only for those that recently purchased a Mac and are trying to get their free upgrade to Mountain Lion. Everyone is able to purchase Mountain Lion for $20 for up to 10 Macs without any problem.
A billion people in this world don't have access to clean drinking water and a few entitled rich folks that don't get their latest operating system instantly is a "shame"? Really? I think us first worlders need a reality shot.
Folks I just threw the head up and went to buy Mountain Lion as I was giving up on the up to date program delivering before I head off on Saturday for a week. Interestingly having registered the serial of my MBR over 24 hours back I went to the App store and purchased in frustration only to find that on buying it told me that I had ALREADY purchased but I could download for free again. The purchase date is showing some two weeks back in or around the date my MBR was shipped. Hope this helps some or maybe I have just been lucky.........![]()
I think we shouldn't be publicising these events. Apple is doing their best for consumers. They will make this right. We don't want this kind of negativity surrounding the launch of the greatest desktop operating system ever released.
Bluethree thank you so much !!!!!
Thanks for being a Guinna pig on this one. I tried what you said and it worked for me too !! I'm already done downloading it (i've got fiber optics). Thanks a lot from France.
The code I received yesterday morning created the response that it was previously used. The code I received mid-day today was for the Server version. Bummer!![]()
Everyone don't be afraid to try Bluethree's tip. When you click on "buy" it will ask you to confirm the purchase if Mountain Lion is not registered as purchased by you. If the AppStore acutally sees that you have a redeem code it will no ask you to confirm but just tell you that you can download it.
PS: funny thing is that it took me 5 minutes to download and now I have to wait 30 minutes for it to write on my slow USB key ...![]()
You don't get it.
Our concern is exactly that world problems will be solved before we get our ML upgrade code.
Did you have to sign in with your Apple ID?
Did you have to sign in with your Apple ID?
I think Apple's history of releases might not coincide with that belief.
