Had it for a few minutes on iOS 14.6 on iPhone 11 Pro Max… played with it too hard on settings…. Went back to play more, now my settings don’t show it as an option and not seeing it within Apple Music. I’m also an Apple One Premium subscriber for whatever that means as we track it. (Minnesota)

I’m a bit confused

what works with AirPods and beats
And what only works out of the speakers of your device

and which thing is all the hype about

Funny it just came through, only on the iPad though
Same an hour ago. Phone, no go.
Wish they added head tracking support. Samsung galaxy buds have this for everything already as of last month. Would be cool if apple did this too.

Not sure if this is what does it but I didn't get the atmos or lossless to show up until after I connected my airpod pros.

Does anyone know if this will be rolled out to android? My work phone is a android, with Apple Music

Currently have nothing on any devices under settings. Not sure if my BOSE headphones will be able to take advantage of any of this anyways.

In California, my iPad mini on 14.7 got it, iPhone and iPad Pro on 15 have not gotten it yet.

It is an absolute awesome for some songs. Lil Wayne's Lollipop is actually pretty good example of it. There are a lot of voices in different "areas" around you while the bass feels like it is actually in your head. Kinda trippy, at least on the AirPods Max.

Not saying its the best song, but makes the best use of Dolby Atmos so far that I have heard.

Did a quick test with my AirPods Pro and amateur ears. Exile (feat. Bon Iver) by Taylor Swift (don't judge my song choice :p). First listened to it on the iPhone with no Dolby Atmos, then downloaded the Dolby Atmos file on my iPad and listened again.

Dolby Atmos seems much clearer and crisper and I can hear birds chirping in the background that I never noticed before.

The vocals also stand out more and sound to me like they're in front of all the other instruments.

When you see Dolby logo did you guys even listen because I’m not hearing spatial audio at all wtf?

Came hear to post the exact same thing. I've never noticed the birds chirping before!!!

The logos were blinking at me and appearing briefly before disappearing upon first loading an album that I expected it to be available on. All I see consistently right now after restarts on iPad & iPhone is the Digital Masters logo. I also don’t have the settings available either yet. Damn, I was really looking forward to doing laundry tonight and getting ready for bed while trying this all out.

Edit1 10:45pm I’m Live now and it‘s GLORIOUS! Didn’t realize we were getting Lossless AND Hi-Res Lossless both today.
Edit2 10:59pm: What Tim Apple giveth he may taketh away. :’( Listened to half an album in Hi-Res Lossless & Lossless, took screenshots, and then switched album to another Lossless and the whole kit of features disappeared before my eyes and even the Settings I had changed were completely gone.
Same thing happened to me. It was there after a restart and now it’s gone. So frustrating.
