I have no personal dislike for Trump, although no praise either. I actually gave him the benefit of the doubt when he was elected, but he has shown to be completely unfit for the job in every area and instead promotes facism and racism, which is something we don’t need as a country. I’m sure there are Fox News viewers that can think for themselves, but that doesn’t make what Fox News is and represents today any less harmful. If it’s hateful for me to point out how bad of a cocktail Fox News, racism, facism, and American ignorance is, then so be it.

I was getting at how they used to trumpet a "holier than thou" narrative, yet they gleefully lined up behind an amoral blowhard who is on his third marriage, has had numerous affairs, has boasted about committing sexual assault, has cheated most of his business partners, has bankrupted his companies numerous times - heck, the courts shut down his "charity", confiscated its funds, fined him an additional $2 million, and put strong restrictions on any future involvement he may try to have with charities.
And Moscow Mitch has spent a lot of time and effort blocking any attempts to make elections safer from foreign interference (one of his arguments being "it would only help democrats", which is just an admission that the Republicans can't win a fair election). If you could run the recent talking points of the current Republican party past the leaders of the Republican party 40 years ago (after carefully removing any mention of what party is being discussed), the old Republican party would be completely outraged at such treasonous behavior (inviting foreign interference, blocking investigation of related criminal activity, etc.).

Could be, but the problem is that so many vote for the person promising the most free stuff. Without free stuff there are very few Democrats that would be elected today.

I'll take far left thinking over far right any day. At least the left uses and believes in science and strives for better equality. Far right agenda only helps the rich stay and get richer, hates on the poor the sick and the different.
Even far right economics don't help anymore. Companies don't use tax savings for creating jobs or increasing wages nearly to the extent they should. They use it to drive up stock prices and dividends. That again mostly helps the rich as the middle and lower class can barely afford to invest. Less well paid people with disposable income will hurt these companies eventually as all the wealth in the world continues to be harvested by the few and they can't spend enough of it to keep economy going.
Not saying Left thinking is perfect economically but the right is very flawed.

You even read my post? I specifically said the left’s financial policies aren’t great either. Politics are dirty in general. Left policies are at least less dirty. Maybe not by much but a little less is better than a little more.
Yes and no - in some ares, eg economics, no. But on others? Absolutely he was right. For example they call illegal immigrants "undocumented" - that's straight from the far-left playbook of how to try to confuse people, try to pretend law breaking is ok from certain groups etc. In that regard most of the US media has indeed adopted the language of the far left.

It's far more complex than you realise though.
There is no - absolutely none - scientific basis for closing down western factories to open more in China and India. No serious scientist would actually approve of that if put specifically.
They may well say there is a high chance that human activity has caused increased earth temperature - that much is scientific. But then the left takes that and applies all sorts of political stuff and then says "oh this is scientific too" as they demand clean western factories are closed and dirty ones opened in Asia.
Trump may well be ignorant but his gut instinct on this stuff is right and as it happens closely aligned to scientific reality.

The democrats are far left on things like the rule of law and immigration. They are also feminist and anti-white.
