Apple Now Blocking 'Overtly Sexual' Apps from App Store

If people are being slapped in the face by adult apps, then someone is doing something wrong...
Who is Apple to say what the public can and cannot have on a device that they purchase? Sure one can jailbreak his or her iPhone or iPod Touch. However, when it comes time for warranty service...sorry! Ultimately, if you want Apple support, you can only have certain things.
I think that if Apple were to develop a system with the App store that limits certain things if you have a birthday under age 18 (or 21 as the case may be). Perhaps showing Adult content could be a lockable opt in feature.
I mean, I would love to be able to use a nice user-friendly app to browse Adult Friend Finder, Porn Hub, and other adult sites. Being of that age where I can make the decision to look at that, I shouldn't be denied.

You made a bad, uninformed decision when you bought your iPhone.
Steve said there would be no porn sold when he announced the app store. Apple never allowed porn to be sold through iTunes. This was true years before the iPhone was even announced.
If you were expecting porn applications in the App store when you purchased your iPhone, you made a bad, uninformed choice.
You can use the word censor all you want. But not selling porn movies in iTunes is not censorship by Apple. Just as it is not censorship by Blockbuster or Netflix.
Please... If iGiggleBoob apps are THAT imortant to you, by all means, get an Android phone.
That sucks big time. I don't need anyone to censor what I can see and what not. I'm happy that I don't live in China or Iran. And for sure, I don't need need Apple as Big Brother.

I have said this several times. I do not want iGiggleBoobs on my phone. I do not want porn on my phone. I have no interest in having any of that stuff on my phone. But what I absolutely do not support is censorship. I'm not pissed at Apple because I can't buy iBoobs, I'm pissed at Apple because someone else can't buy iBoobs for no other reason than a bunch of prudes complained about it.
I think looking @ that stuff is perverted... If you can't do the real deal and have to get your hollies looking at a little screen then you have some seriouse social issues! There is Safari for that so the CHOICE is still there on the iPhone... just NOT through Apple! Big deal! It's thier store... just go buy another phone and please, please do it in a hurry!
They could handle this differently. Like how the video stores put the porno section in the back room. Maybe this is just a temporary solution to satisfy their offended customers.

You knew when you purchased the iPhone that all apps would have to be approved by Apple. PERIOD.
Using your logic, someone could write an app that collects your personal information and if some IDIOT chooses to purchase it and run it, it is OK?
More and more people will move to Android as it continues to improve. People are getting tired of Apple's Orwellian ways and their same old boring grid of 16 icons. Android offers just as good of an experience as iPhone does without Dictator Steve telling you what to run on your phone. It's my phone I'm going to put what I want on it.

It would be more like being able to go to only one store and not being able to get anything even remotely smutty. If Apple ran a general outlet store then they'd wind up banning Cosmo, tabloids, and just about anything else with so much as a little bit of cleavage on it. The funny thing is, it shouldn't be for you or other self-righteous jagoffs to decide. If you don't like it, then no on is going to make you use it. I have all the beautiful women I need or have the need to look at... why would anyone need an app from apple to do that when you can access it through Safari?
