You why are you wasting your time here--other than that it's part of your aapl bashing job?
That's true. We should ban everyone that doesn't own an iPhone.

I think it's good! Perverts need to just use Safari big deal! And the ones against it can go do thier own app stores... problem solved!
The thing I don't get though is that attitude, that once I made the decision to buy a product I have to keep up with all the good and bads that come along with it. Just because I knew apps would be reviewed and still bought the phone, doesn't mean I have to like it and much less does it mean I have to agree with them changing the policies. There is a ton of things I like about my phone .. the appstore and the review process is not one of them.

I bought my iPhone 3G on launch day the day when the App Store first opened up. At the time, I had no idea Apple would be censoring the apps for content. If I knew that, I never would've bought the iPhone.
Open source starts looking better and better. I don't have any of those types of apps on my phone, but I like knowing that if I want them, I can get them. I guess I like my freedom of choice in the matter.
Good riddance.
I'm as raging a liberal as anyone and love freedom of speech, but seeing iBoobs or HoxSexSuperHotGirls in the top apps makes me really lose faith in humanity and I'd rather see more worthwhile apps (or at least more...content-heavy apps) be celebrated instead.
No. But it would be interesting if all the posters who work for companies which in any way can be considered apple competitors were required to identify themselves. There are quite a few here. Some are very obvious, others not as much.
Uh, no. Not quite. I was under the impression that Apple would not be big brother and would not be censoring the App Store. They never said they would and I had no reason to believe otherwise. So you made a bad, uninformed decision.
I understand now. You have two years of whining about it here before you can correct it.

I find this funny. You are being "vocal" about your displeasure that Apple is not allowing you to buy iBoob type apps on you iPhone.
Would you be "vocal" about this to your boss? Your Parents? Your co-Workers?
"Honey, Mom, Dad, Boss, Apple is just pissing me off! They took iBoobs and iGiggleBoobs off the app store! I am going to get an Android phone ASAP so I can purchase these apps!"
LOL
And how do you plan on making your own iPhone app store without jailbreakign (which I'm sure Apple likes less than iBoobs). Please tell.
The App Store is being prepared for the iPad and the senior citizens.![]()
"Free Speech as long as it doesn't offend me" is no free speech at all dude. Free speech is "I don't agree with what you're saying but I'll defend your right to say it to the death".
Just make your own products and be in control of them... that's your right! But to tell Apple what to do isn't YOUR right and you have the right and a CHOICE to NOT use it! Does anyone come to you and tell you what to put on your blog or anything you own? No... so what gives you the right to tell others? Just go and invent your own products and move on with you demands... See, solved!

IMO, I would think Apple doesn't seriously want to ban these apps from their store. They would have never approved in the first place if that was the case. They must feel that a larger number of their customer base oppose sexual content, over those that purchase such content. So as a business decision, they decided to remove them. It's just part of the game of making money.
The novelty of the App Store has worn off for me. I use to check it out all the time when it first arrived, but now it is flooded with too much junk. If I hear about something specific being available, I'll check it out, but other than that, I don't browse the App Store anymore.
If you oppose sexual content, don't buy it. It's really that simple. If those people who complained to Apple are too stupid to figure it out, then perhaps they should buy a RAZR.

What gives Apple the right to tell me that I can't have a boob app on my phone that I paid good money for? I don't want any of those appls on my phone, but if I did, then who the hell is Apple to say no?

I have women in and around my life I can look @ that any time I want... For the wierdos who can't find a lady to catch a thrill isn't Apples problem... This is a personal issue and something you don't want to be slapping everyone in the face with! And again... Just invent your own products then you can perve out all you want!
