I’m not talking about Apple Music, I’m talking about iTunes music you purchase. I prefer to buy my content than rent it.Apple Music can download or stream lossless, but if you unsubscribe you can no longer play the files.

Buy some external storage. Way cheaper than discs.I stopped buying movies and tv shows on iTunes years ago when Apple moved to SSD hard drives and started charging a fortune for hard drive upgrades. It’s cheaper and easier to buy the DVD instead.
I started doing that before realising it would cost a fortune in external hard drives. In my experience there is very little difference in price between iTunes and buying the DVD.Buy some external storage. Way cheaper than discs.
What is an iPurchase Pro subscription? I’ve not heard of that before. Is this free, or does it require an iPurchase Pro subscription?
Two factor authentication is a benefit, no?Tired of Apple trying to force 2 factor authentication on everyone.
Apple is now more obnoxious than Microsoft
You seem to have no interest in expending the slightest effort to protect yourself. When you get hacked, will you sue a company for not protecting your account? Yes, two factor can be a bit annoying. But if a few seconds of annoyance can prevent someone from hacking and draining a very large amount of my money, then I can live with it. Why others don't understand this is beyond me.Tired of Apple trying to force 2 factor authentication on everyone.

Not always. You need to have your phone with you to validate the authentication process. It’s probably great for Apple because it increases the dependence on your iPhone. Two factor authentication is a benefit, no?
It would be quicker and easier if Apple Face/Touch ID was able to validate you without needing the added layer of 2FA.You seem to have no interest in expending the slightest effort to protect yourself. It seems to transfer over for me, but I still on unliked and re-linked. I think another comment was correct in saying there's like a shadow account so the old account is still out there but it's no longer used. It's like maybe symlinked over or something. But the net effect is still you have one account and you can transfer in all your old purchases and history and libraries. And finally, you can use the storage that comes from Apple one if you sign up for that.Wow! I have been waiting for this day for almost 15 years. I never thought it would happen. 🤯
My only concern is Movies Anywhere linking. Currently, it's linked to my secondary Apple ID that I only use for media purchases. If I move everything over to my primary iCloud Apple ID, will my movies imported via Movies Anywhere also transfer over? Or do I have to unlink my old Apple ID from Movies Anywhere and then re-link using my primary Apple ID?
No. Time to bring back Windows 95 and Outlook Express. I've been craving a dot matrix printer lately. The good old days! Two factor authentication is a benefit, no?
