Ya

I just can’t find the item anywhere on Anker.com and Apple does not mention anything about fast charging.
It’s probably an Apple store exclusive. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It states fast charging of Series 7 in the video on Apple.com so I’d bet it will do the same for the Ultra. It’s odd that this is a new product and the compatibility chart shows the new iPhones but not the new watches. Sloppy marketing is my guess.

Are there any Physics masters who can figure out how heavy that pole needs to be for it not to tip over from an iPad 5ft off the ground?

Sorry, TBBT s(p)oiled such a gadget for me forever:

The design of the cube is nice.

But… $150 nice? Nahhh.

Definitely something I’m going to pick up on sale and / or amazon credits from holiday gifts. Full price is a little steep but it is much closer to worth it than most chargers like it I’ve seen.

Is the cube made of brushed aluminium, or plastic, Im not sure ?
Also, Didn't like the look of the marks along the edge with the hinge when it came out of the box. Wonder if that was scuffed, or dust.

I prefer the Belkin 3 in 1 with Fast Charging but this does look better for travel.

I got this for like €30 on Amazon and it works great. It’s small and portable, works with MagSafe fast charging and the finish is surprisingly good.

I just couldn’t justify spending €150 on a charger. Hopefully it won’t destroy my devices in the long run :/
You’re gonna share something nice like that and not tell others how to find it? 😉

All three in one devices I’ve seen are ugly…this one included. I don’t need fast charging so if this is actually functional across three devices it might be worth it. People who think they need fast charging then can have a secondary charging unit.

Not a physics master, but you don't want the weight in the pole - that'd make it more likely to tip - you want the weight in the base plate. And to not tip even with a good strong accidental knock, I'm thinking you'd want like a hundred pounds or more, given the 5 foot lever has a lot of leverage to pry the base plate up off the floor and the relatively small dimensions of the base plate. So... Steel? Iron? Tungsten? Depleted Uranium? And, in any case, thicker than is shown. Unless, of course, you put mounting holes in the base plate and then screw it to the floor. But I can't imagine that'd go over well for most people's uses.

Anytime I see an ad calling the Apple Watch “iWatch” I immediately disregard it.

Nice, but is it safe? The mere fact that they call the Apple Watch an iWatch raises eyebrows. Sometimes cheap isn't always better.
That’s true, but given it’s usb c I’ll use a trusted wall brick I already have. A charging coil is a very simple product, usually on things like these it’s the power management that is dangerous because they’re cheaped out on. I figure with a quality power supply to it there’s not much of a risk here.

This. the only accessory I’m aware of, besides Apple’s cord, that fast charges watches is the Belkin stuff. Which is really a shame.

I wish Apple used nomenclature other than “fast charging” because that phrase is so easily abused.

the price is comparable to the Belkins, but the Belkins provide Apple Watch fast charging, and insofar as there’s no mention that this does, I’m guessing it doesn’t.
