I’ve had their bottles for years, in fact I just gave two of them away for free on here. They work very well.

I actually have one of these bottles. I like it. I'm terrible at drinking water. I'm never consistent. My doctor mentioned that I should drink more water due to a medical condition. I bought one of those huge gallon bottles and tried to use that but the problem was I just wouldn't pick the thing up. This reminding me daily has got me into the habit of being more consistent throughout the day.

After having the bottle I discovered exactly how much I should be drinking, and I was nowhere near where I needed to be. I'd be willing to bet many of the folks on here making jokes don't either. I should note it updates based on the weather conditions as well.

Also, I'm using this instead of plastic bottles which I'm happy I'm not using anymore. It's really helped me to make it much more of a habit.

Reading the comments here it's making me feel like I'm crazy, but to each his own I guess.
This guy gets it. It ain’t for everyone, but some people have a genuine use for it.

I can just imagine the meeting when they came up with this... thing for putting water in... all horribly stoned, trying to outdo each other for the most useless, irrelevant and pointless 'features' they could, laughing themselves silly, and then trying to decide how much they dare charge for it - and then doubling it, followed by another hour of rolling on the floor, wetting themselves!

Oh, you may mock, but I've been in meetings like that.

Wait, when I saw the price I assumed that this thing heated or chilled the beverage.
$80 to tell me how much water I drink?

Never been truer, a fool and his money are soon parted.

Just to be clear, it does keep a beverage cold for 24 hours. Obviously there are a lot of other cheaper options that do that, but it is indeed one of the features.

As stupid as this is, be thankful Apple don't actually make it. If they did, you'd have to pay extra for the opening to drink the water out of and even more for a lid. Don't even get me started on how much wheels cost.

I drink 6 soda pops a day. I'm going to replace that expense and waste with this cool water bottle. I will save $$$, my health, and the planet.

This product isn't for the curmudgeons commenting here but there is a market that will benefit.
Good move.

Sodas (like Coke) are really bad for you, especially your kidneys. Many people wrongly surmise that drinking soda throughout the day is a good hydrating practice when it really isn't.

You’re 100% correct. Most people are dehydrated and don’t know it, which causes a lot more problems than they realize. Living in an arid climate you realize how much you require and it’s a lot more than you think.

I hope everyone that is bashing this product is in great physical health. Not many well hydrated people aren't in great shape. Drinkinking more more had to be part of my regimen if I wanted to lose weight. I was 210 lbs. I got this product in black last year. Sure it was just another gadget but it always reminded me to drunk more water. Then it became habit. I am also today 148 lbs Obviously this bottle had little to do with it but every bit counts.

I use WaterMinder, custom reminders and it integrets with the Health app and has a watch app with complication.
After a year of having the reminders on, I turned them off since I don't need them anymore. I was able to create a firm habit of how often I drink. And having the complication showing how much I've drank every time I check the time reminds me as well.
I’m with you brother (or is it sister?). I track my water with WaterMinder using my watch. I went from an avg of 0 oz a day to 60-80 per day. I use a 40 oz hydroflask and a glass.

If you need an app to know when you drink water then you have bigger problems.
I’m looking at one of these.

Primarily for playing sports. I referee a sport at an elite level, and also play a few others at a lower level.

Im interested in comparing water intake over a multiple day event vs performance data and cramps etc.

Tracking water intake over several days of competition when you’re too busy to keep count easily can be tough.

So if this does the job of automatically tracking and then I’m able to view trends related to sporting performance then I’m in love.

Probably another water bottle made in China. Also - they need to figure out how to make glass water bottles that stay cool. Glass is so much better/safer alternative to plastic/steel.
Glass isn’t safer on a sports pitch.
