Got my preorder in. I am switching from AT&T to T-Mobile and got am paying full price. First time paying that much for a phone [(6+ 128GB) (Use a lot of music)]. My contract ends in Oct but I couldn't wait to buy it lol. It said that the estimate delivery will be in Sept. 19 (Ordered it about an hour ago). Good thing about getting a full price phone is that I can switch whenever I want.
 
just did my orders on my phone for a 6 plus in gold and space gray, both say shipping 7 to 10 days and eta of oct 1 through 6...I sure hope its sooner.

I was up at 3 am and witnessed all the apple store crashing and verizon crashing and apple store app crash

I did store reservation for 8-9am as Kingston Bentalls Store is 5 mins away... so I get the craziness without the stock anxiety or presumably queues.

Yeah, supply for the 6 Plus must have been VERY limited. Strange how the majority of stores in the UK still have the 6 available for pickup.

That's what I am doing too. Though, the line I am using for the Upgrade is still showing as next eligible. I'm hoping that they don't update their systems before the email comes. Then I can order from Apple and return this. Or... They will cancel my order, seeing I have another one inbound.

If you place the order through Apple after AT&T, the AT&T order will get canceled. I had a preorder through AT&T and I placed it through Apple after I was able to since the shipping time for the 6 is the same. I did submit a cancel request for the AT&T order but it was canceled soon automatically after I placed the Apple one and I got an email saying:

"Thank you for your recent purchase on the AT&T Premier Online Store. We are pleased that you chose AT&T as your wireless service provider.

Unfortunately, we cannot process your order as you are not eligible for an upgrade at this time."

Once you place the order through Apple it is reflected right away (my AT&T account online shows the lines aren't upgrade eligible either, but they do show as upgrade eligible when ordering through AT&T until the item is shipped/processed in their system fully).
 
If I chose in store pick-up, can I walk in after the melee around 1pm and expect them to still have my phone?
 
I got up at 2:55 am eastern. At 3, nothing, on the app at 3:32 I ordered my black 6+ 128 in store pickup 9/19, shipping was already showing 7-10 days


You're the second person on the east coast to have been lucky. I haven't heard on one person in Cali that got the in store pickup for the 6+
 
i was able to order successfully via the Apple Store app at 3:45 AM ET

This is the model I got, great choice. I don't seee how so many people got the 6 , worse battery, same screen at last 3 years, no optical stabilization. Just keep your 4s or 5 at that rate
 
I can't pre-order iPhone 6+ till my contact will be end on sept 14. Can I pre-order it on sept 14? But they may be sold out today till order more units end of year ?

This is always why I wait at least a month before buying an new iPhone. Always feel people are rushing to get the last piece food when a new idevice comes. Then I get disappointed when they don't have the storage model and color I want. Then if I pre order people who brought theirs in store have it before me. Because order is backed up.

I always wait until the rush dies.

Successfully ordered iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Gold via Apple Store App.

It was a nerve-wracking but an exhilaratingly fantastic feeling not unlike when my favorite futbol and World Cup teams / players win / score goaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllls! Flipped back and forth for almost 20 minutes between Apple Store App, Apple.com and att.com.

Ordered without a hitch at 3:03am, iPhone 6 with 9/19 delivery.

Much easier than last year

I had the same outcome but at 3:02am completion. Something during the
day just told be the Apple site was not going to work, so I took the detour at 3:00am.
 
I ended up ordering my 6+ through ATT Premier... however I still haven't received an order confirmation email and it's been 4+ hours.
 
Not sure where you live, but in the US the delivery companies bend over backwards to meet the delivery commitments. My experience anyway.

Glad to know. Always walked in and bought before so never preordered. Glad to know they will ship prior and deliver that day. Not sure why everyone would not do it this way rather then deal with lines etc.
