Apple Now Taking Pre-Orders for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Through U.S. Online Store [Updated]

I stayed up to the start playing destiny. Checking website and apple store app. Website never worked. App finally got through at 3:30m est and first it showed all as unavailable restarted app and they finally showed as available.

Preordered a 6plus 64gb space gray and set for 9/19 delivery. I used my sons number since mine isn't available for upgrade so will just swap sims and he will get my current 5.

Love all the complainers. It was pretty much par for the course since they did online preorders. Heck the 4s was worse as I just gave up and went to bed though I did get the order in after i woke up.

Can't wait to see the numbers this year. Should be interesting with different sized models.

Can't wait to hold this bad boy. May try the otter alpha glass cover this time and no case. Have to do some more reading on the "anti-shatter" film.

Strange, what country are you in? My contract is up Sept 21st, but I was able to pre-order an IP6 on the 12th (ATT).

In the past, I thought all pre-orders were in the local time zone at 12:01AM. I see several postings that state 3:01AM (east coast). I'm on the west coast and I was able to "break through" on the ATT website around 12:01AM here.

Never did get on to the Apple site.

Does Apple now only use one time for the entire US? If this is true, it's a screw job for anyone east of the DST zone.

Nope. If you have a FAN account, you get sent through the premier store, and the only way to cancel your order is to return it or refuse delivery. I found this out the hard way.

Yep, just got my email stating the same thing. Guess I'll just refuse delivery. Did you return yours or refuse delivery?

Nope, I'm in the 10/13-10/22 expected date range of the AT&T order system. And with the amount of time I'm potentially going to have to wait, I'm not refusing the shipment.

I ordered a gold 64GB gold iPhone 6 Plus

Wow, since you got an email confirmation of your order I think you'll be just fine!

I'm glad my Credit Card didn't put a hold on my account, but interesting, I have three $0 charges and one $57 (tax) charge from AT&T. I got on the phone 18 hours later (same day) with AT&T when I got a text from them saying something like: Congratulations! Your iPhone 6 Plus will be shipped between November 9 and November 27, 2014, I was not happy.

I am so glad I reserved an iPhone with Apple because when I finally got to an AT&T representative on the phone, I then saw an email from Apple saying I need to complete my order, I did, and it went through! Two different orders on the same Next Plan and same phone number, shouldn't work, but it happened! So the nice woman with AT&T said she had the option to cancel AT&T's order.

Now I'll get my iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Gold between October 1-6, 2014. Two weeks is better than two months! I am so glad I reserved an iPhone three hours later on Apple.com after reserving one with AT&T.

Yeah I still have to call AT&T to fully cancel the first order but it looks like I'm a go for Friday.

I see, I thought you meant you had done this with a past preorder.
