Once you sign up, do we have to cancel our other services, or are they just voided
In my instance, yes. I had the 50GB iCloud storage. Now signed up for the Apple One, and then cancelled the other.
And, during the signup process, it does tell you what to do. So, I was merely following instructions :p

PS: Prior to me cancelling the 50GB iCloud, it showed I had 100GB of storage. But, come 30th November, that will change to 50GB (since I cancelled the 50GB iCloud)...

Hmm, they needed to work this through better (as many people have pointed out):

I had:
2 TB iCloud (rollover on the 22nd)
Music (rollover on the 1st)

I signed up for the 1 month trial for Premier and now have:

4TB - Existing 2TB "renews on 11/22/20"
Music - "This subscription will be included in Apple One starting Nov 30, 2020"

Would have though those auto-cancel and roll into the trial; does this now mean I should cancel my active subscriptions and assume a) service just enable in Apple One and b) I get a pro-rated refund on the storage subscription?
Ugh, just check the confirmation email from Apple after activating and it says:

"Services for which you already have a paid subscription or free trial are not included in your Apple One trial. Your subscription includes iCloud storage"

I'm unable to cancel my existing iCloud storage subscription at this point.

Messy and poorly communicated.

You can cancel your existing iCloud storage. Alas, it will not 'expire' till the current end date (i.e. in a month), unless you paid yearly or something like that.

I did it for myself, earlier...

Crap, I didn't see a prompt to cancel existing subscription first... now to fight with Apple Support to make that happen, I guess.

It won’t charge you until your next cycle so you likely have time to cancel unless your billing cycle was today.

I never got the refund for iCloud storage and Apple Music. Anyone else facing the same issue?

I cancelled Music but now I have this weird situation of "will I have service come 11/1 or not"; the wording under Subscriptions/Apple Music Subscription now reads "This subscription will be included in Apple One starting Nov. 30, 2020".

Does this mean that since I've cancelled today (so no auto-renew on 11/1), I effectively have nothing for the next 30 days?!?

My wife has apple music on her iCloud account that she family shares. I have iCloud storage and Apple TV. Can we easily merge them all togethe?

So, do I need iOS 14 before I can see and sign-up for Apple One. I don’t see it showing up yet in iOS 13.

nevermind. I found the answer. Still, this should be mentioned in the article.

What happens if I have a free AT+ sub until next march because of an iPad I bought last year? Do they refund this as well or I'll lost this sub?

Here's what I want to know... I have an iTunes account associated with an old @hotmail account from my PC days... but I also have an iCloud email account that is my primary email account. My purchases, data, and subscriptions are tied to my Hotmail ID... when you sign up, can you see all your purchases from one account? Or do you still have to flip back and forth between the 2?

for me its the same as before. still attached to old itunes account. HOWEVER, it asked if i wanted to attach the cloud data to my icloud, i responded yes and then it asked if wanted to replace my previous 200gb plan. i answered yes and everything looks fine.

Just got apple one. My TV+ subscription was set to expire in February. Unfortunately, it appears apple one overrides that free trial and begins billing in full for everything on November 30th for me. I said screw it. I could collect $5 from my fiancée until February in exchange for sharing everything... so wrong lol.

This is what I'm wondering. If a family member is the one who signed up for Apple Music and I'm the one who signed up for Apple One, will it automatically cancel theirs?

I added my son to mine and his Apple Music was cancelled automatically.

i got screwed. my music was expiring today and i signed up for One. now it says music will resume as part of my One membership on Nov. 30th. when i open music i have no access. means by subbing today i am apple musicless for an entire month.

Hopefully this means Fitness+ will be rolling out any day now.
With on-going lock downs and others unable to workout at a proper gym or field nearby, kids unable to play sports at school, gym time league teams etc ... having something to do at home when watching TV besides sitting on our collective asses is a HUGE smart move not just by Apple but for your entire life now and in the future:

Better breathing,
toned muscular maintains best bone health,
mental synapses over a short consistent time fire faster,
leading to longer mental acuity and balanced mental state in very late years,
stress drops significantly as well as stressors having less prolonged negative effect,
more efficient bodily processes at a molecular level leading to longer healthier life,
less reliance on medications, less prone to physical ailments, more enjoyable long life.

Yet still only 50GB for individual plan to save, share, and store moments to as our devices increasingly save/create/use higher quality: Apps, Books, Documents, entity raw data, feelings that bind us to moments in life were music/video/voice/sound become our emotionally cling time frame for all these experiences. 50 GB I've had for free, publicly available, secure and maintained over 5yrs using Mega.nz

Apple is selling something so minimal that its not a significant offer for anyone with an iPhone, Mac, iPad, former iPod for over 10yrs.

Well I just signed up and got a free 1 month trial (nice one Apple) so haven't been charged again. My Music/ATV sub will merge into Apple One this time next month and won't be charged for the double subscriptions.

Just need to cancel the current iCloud storage and I'm good to go.
Does it cancel your current services by itself when you sign up for Apple one?

I am not getting the notification for Apple one when I go to subscriptions. Anybody has this and fixed it? Any ideas? Thanks!

That doesn’t sound right. By the look of it, you signed up on the 30th and have one month free of your Apple One tier (you don’t mention what tier) which will then charge you from 30th November. What option did you go for and are those working or does it say you have to wait till 30th November for those to?

If you signed up 30th October it works from 30th October. You don’t wait a month for it to kick in.

Despite your horror stories I didn’t have to do anything. My 2tb sub actually merged into Apple One, my current apple subs automatically rolled over to Apple One, all of them easily despite being deducted Yesterday.

Checked My purchase history and sure enough got refunded for every single sub I had for this month.

I remember seeing the 4tb combined storage prompt but it went back down to 2tb with the option to add on more storage via 50gb, 200gb or the 2tb option as extra. Sooo Not a bad ordeal overall.

Not right at all. Premier. I think since there were probably several minutes of overlap in my preexisting music sub and my new apple one sub it was excluded and now claims to restart in late November.

ill contact tomorrow.

I already have Apple Music and iCloud Drive 200GB. Total is about $11.00 I think. 2TB is listed, but I don't see 4TB.
