For a company so focused on expanding into services, they’ve really left something to be desired.
If they actually cared about customers and offering a robust service they would have a per GB rate that was something like:By the way, does anyone else find it weird that Apple doesn’t have a 1TB storage option? I know this is consistent with other companies, but 200gb to 2TB is a big leap lol.
Same here. Everything worked itself out overnight. As of yesterday, my Apple One was listed as "expired" and all my services (Music, Arcade, Storage) showed as becoming part of Apple One as of 11/30 (so, yesterday, that is).
Overnight I got my first invoice for Apple One and everything looks fine in my subscriptions now -- only Apple One shows up, it's active, and Music, Arcade, and News all seem to be working.
So, for me.... I think it's okay now? Time will tell.
Kind of odd they are charging us when one of the services we are paying for is not available yet.its probably due to them not getting fitness out soon enough.
That's incorrect.A lot of people didn't read that the One trial was only for services you were not subbing already. You had to manually cancel your running subscriptions beforehand!
Whatever your anger issue is about it's not because of Apple. This company is a total and absolute mess.
It's all money money money with them as of 8 years ago.
That's when the bs started.
Most people thought this mess with Apple had reached its max with the release of the Mac Book Pro back in 2016 and especially when they then keep re-releasing it almost unchanged year after year.
Remember that stupid silicone pad around the keys...wow...LOL!!!!!!!!!! That's a fixer.
But oh no...much more has been going on since then and it looks like it's nowhere close to being over.
Because it's a crock of ****. I've been buying Apple since 1977 and had many many 1st gen products that were great. Why didn't I heed the advice of all those that wait for the second generation??
As a former Apple support employee, I beg you; please don't take out your legitimate frustration on the person who answers the phone to help resolve your issue.Yep, and as soon as one picks up they’re getting a loud earful from me.
Nah, I would never do that. I was just pissed and venting at the moment. I deal with the public daily, so I know what that‘s like! The guy I spoke to was great, and we were on for awhile trying to fix it.As a former Apple support employee, I beg you; please don't take out your legitimate frustration on the person who answers the phone to help resolve your issue.
here in the UK and I have experienced some issues...
Apple Music subscription was billed yesterday, then today AppleOne which immediately got credited back... and then another AppleOne subscription came out again.
so far been overcharged for Apple Music... waiting to see if this now gets refunded.
i got a refund for... most of it.I got the refund for Apple Music automatically this morning so all is good.
I didn't have to unsubscribe. I just re-initiated the Apple One and it caused all the others to poof disappear and actually handled them correctly this time (as it should have when they offered the free month a month ago).so now the safest way is to unsubscribe from all services first then subscribe to Apple one, eh?
I got a refund for about half of it too. Pretty sure it is prorated from the charge date of the individual item to the charge date of the bundlei got a refund for... most of it.
This is the rub - if your trial expires AFTER the billing date of the service that's part of the trial, you're charged for it.I just got charged for Apple Music despite having apple one trial that's gonna renew on December 13th.
After the first month "trial" (which doesn't include what you already pay for) - they'll roll it all into one.I’m having a reverse proble. The Premier tier cost as much as I was already paying, but with more stuff, so I chose it. Only problem is that they didn’t delete my other subscriptions, so I’m having to go over & over to the problem page to get refunds for duplicate billing
