Is it just me, or is that new "we'll be back" banner not Retina-ready. Looks fuzzy on my iPad.

Yes and no, so: depends and sorta =)

It is retina res ready in that it is available at large dimensions in crisp look so in theory it should look great on retina screen devices.

The problem why it does not do so well on the new iPad is that currently there is a bug there on Safari which leads to large graphics being downscaled when not certain types of png or progressive jpg.

A store redesign would be nice. It was looking more than a little dated and cluttered.

There were also a whole lot of empty greyed out products that have been out of stock for a long time now....I think that's what they are probably sorting out...Cases, Shells for the new iPad....Raid stuff needs a new look too.

Sigh, to everyone saying it's a "slow news day," that Sticky has been there for at least half a decade, it's a little "odd" that they just changed it. Something's coming, most likely a store redesign. They wouldn't have removed the (iconic?) Sticky randomly on a Wednesday morning.

Did they take down the apple store to put up a new "We'll be back." sign or did they put up the new sign because they took down the apple store???

relax. they're just doing site maintenance. i'd surprised if there were any new products in the store and if it's the case, then it's probably some slight changes like MBA with larger drives or something like that.

I agree. While I generally like Apple's minimalistic design's in products, this just looks, well, minimalistic. No character, no charm, just something a 12 year old could have designed.

Hey ! If they can make your iPad. They can design Apple's graphics.

Bada Boom !!

Thank you. I'll be here all night. And remember.

The drunker you get. The better I sound.

:D

I can only dream of the new MBP. My current first-gen Unibody is on it's last legs from constant almost four years of usage.

The anticipation continues. There's definitely a different textured background on the store now. Let's see what turns out!
