Late April Fools Joke on all of us. I bet the people who run the website right now are sitting at Apple HQ laughing their butts off at this thread thinking about how everyone believes one little change equates to new iMacs or MacBook Pro's, etc.

i bought online 2 hours ago a mbp to pick in store by friday, if the new mbp is coming, am i gonna get it by friday? or i will be getting the last one?

Just a thought...

And how long do you think the site will be up again???

I'd cancel the order if I were you... Just a thought but you wouldn't want the old one with a new model coming out probably today.

Am I the only one who likes the new look better than the old one? The older "stickie" message looks, IMHO, a bit tacky. This one looks much more modern and more sleek. And, no, it doesn't look iOS-like; if anything, the older "stickie" has a more iOS feel to it.

I disagree. Judging by how carefully integrated and homogenous the Apple website is, there is certainly something to this change. Whether this is related to a change in product lines (unlikely) or a change of the Apple Store interface (most probably), we will know in a few hours.

But they most certainly did not do this by mistake or just because they thought the old graphic had to be updated.

I bet there are changes to services offered. No new products, but new warranties (like APP+ for all products) and One to One available at anytime, and special training programs for education.

Amen. I too enjoy it XD I'm on my iPod right now reading these comments. While I doubt it will come out tomorrow I really can't wait for the MBP. However, i say it should come out later when I have money so I can get it the night it is released :)

Being an avid Apple follower has made me so sceptical, I think it's good..and it makes for a lot of "" while reading through these comments.

I know you guys want to dream, and I shouldn't try to stop you but come on. Really? The now "baclog" of Macs, might not take forefront it once did, but an overnight update for a new architecture? Really? Ivy Bridge is finally going to bring USB3 to Apple products, and you think they'll just do that in a quiet update? (USB 3, TB, XX thing - "Get Connected")

Way more on the money, but still. New anything in an overnight update? Apple might be a global company but no company works like this.

I agree, new one looks much more professional. The old sticky, and specifically the typesetting on the sticky looked like it was done in microsoft word.

Much better IMO.. but it is IOS like as far as the texture goes.

D.

WhereTF is Mr. X when we need him?

My 1st gen MBP (Intel Core Duo... not even Core 2 Duo) from early '06 needs replacing STAT!

I sooo need a 13" MBP. I've been waiting for a <15" form factor "pro" class Mac notebook since I sold my 12" PowerBook back in late '05!

Just go to the actual MacBook Pro and Mac Pro sites instead of the store.

Well now. If Apple took down the product page you would already know what product ( if any ) they were updating wouldn't you ?

;)

well with this one could say : if Apple took down the store one might already think of changes coming :D

i fear it's services and maybe ipad stuff (retina look etc)
