I’m more worried that it’s going right back to Hong Kong after. Hopefully our phone are on there and not in Hong Kong waiting with next pickup.

That’s probably another version of same plane that will leave there around 6:30 am CDT rather than this one but yes who knows which plane it will be on this or one tomorrow?

For what its worth there is another UPS plane following UPS 63... UPS 59 arrives shortly and will be going to Ontario, California afterwards... maybe our phones are on that one for those of us on the west coast?

Unfortunately, I don't think so. Have you ever seen it bypass Louisville and go straight to ONT or anywhere else?

Also, I wouldn't think they'd have separated phones into west coast, east coast, etc at the origin point. I think they'll unbundle them in Louisville and they'll spread to the winds from there.

EDIT: oh I get it. It's a **UPS** plane. Why would it be going to ONT in the first place if it didn't have stuff coming from HK to the US. Or if it was going on to Louisville, why would it stop in ONT at all? Interesting!

Yeah I believe there's no way it wouldn't go to the main hub and get dispersed from there

Correct they take them all to the Louisville main hub and break up pallets. Then send on trucks to closer places, and back on planes for west coast, and perhaps Canada, and other further locations they cannot make for timely delivery in trucks. I am only 3.5 hours from Louisville so it always come by truck.

Yeah, probably wishful thinking... just figured I'd pass it along since its a UPS plane that is going from Hong Kong to Ontario, California (with a 3-hr stop in Anchorage) without stopping in Louisville.

Ok, well, maybe so. Here's an old item from iPhone 6s days:

"Currently, many flights are on their way to Louisville, Kentucky's Worldport, which is UPS' worldwide air hub. Additional flights are on the way to Ontario, California."

Just received the dreaded text from UPS:
trackingnumber.url from AI delivery date rescheduled for 09/27/2019. Reply STOP to cancel msgs...

I've been scheduled in UPS My Choice for 9/26 since last Friday.

Just got an update, for delivery on Sept 27!!!!

Damn just got that also. Bet our phones still in Hong Kong. Logistics wise this has to be the biggest screw up i have seen for iUP>

But the 9/26 date was always tentative til now. My UPS now shows this as well as the text but does not say tentative any longer.... its still the first day of the original promised date range folks. The customs snafu screwed us from earlier dates...

Yeah this is crazy. I don't think I'll ever do the whole preorder process again. After getting the delay on the black iPhone 7 and now this delay yet again. I'll be just going to the store on release day and walking out with one
