They're not processed as cash advance because technically the money is not going to you. Sure you can game the system and send money to someone else (then have them give you the cash), but otherwise it's processed as a regular transaction.

At least there's something said about Apple Pay Cash. Nothing on iMessages in the Cloud. Reminding me of when they announced notifications but didn't launch it till the next OS.

I use paypal for sending money to others.

For transactions like when you're going to dinner and want to pay whoever picked up the bill? I know people use PayPal for less frequent / larger things like paying rent or sending donations.

Apple pay is free too if setup up with your checking account. The fee apply toward credit card charges!!
