Do a double tap for erasingSince the butt end is no longer a removable cap/charge point, I hope you can flip the pencil upside down and use that end as an eraser.

I think you mean 10 AM Eastern Time or 7 AM Pacific Time.
This is editorial. Maybe they are looking for help. “...wait to long...” is also in there.
This article says the event starts at 7am ET? I thought it was 10am ET.
Is this error in accuracy of the MacRumors article?
No need to reinvent a new gesture for something that already exists and is ubiquitous, though, no? We all already know when you want to erase something you flip the pencil over. Heck my wacom tablet stylus has done this for years.Do a double tap for erasing![]()
Same here. Still rocking' the 9.7" iPad Pro.Oh man I can’t wait... it’s been years since I bought a new iPad.
I’m actually looking forward to this purchase.
I never knew this was a thing!Reminds me of the old white iMac, with the Apple Remote able to magnetically stick to the side. Nice to see Apple reusing some old ideas.

I bet the P2 will be thinner than the original.Thank god! It's difficult to look at the current Apple Pencil without getting lost in its overcomplicated complex design!

Yes, Magsafe is sorely missed.Magnet is cool again at Apple but refuse to release Magsafe for MacBooks.
Nope. Air 2 from day one. Never used a case or any sort of protection. Neither on my iPhone. This sounds like a good direction. I have nearly lost my cap on several occasions. However, don't most people use their iPad with a case? Hopefully it is able to attach/charge with a case. I carry mine all over campus and I also have small children. No way I'm going case-less. Hopefully Apple brings back their leather cases with one specially designed for the Pencil. IMO there is no iPad case better than Apple's leather cases—they are slim, protective, and attractive.
