When's the last time you saw a reporter harass and call a United States Senator names during an interview at the United States Senate, while putting their hands on them? This is unheard of. I'm surprised Capitol Hill Police hasn't issued a restraining order from him entering the building at a later date.
This is Apple's free speech. Private platform.

Free speech never applied to corporate media platforms. The first amendment is for the purpose of protecting the people from being silenced by the government. The ability to speak on a platform such as Facebook, Youtube, or iTunes podcasts is a privilege, not a right. And those privileges can be removed at any time.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Free speech is not dead. Alex “nut-job” Jones is free to spew his nonsense on his own site or on a street corner. Apple is under no obligation to provide him a platform for his BS.

See how quickly I condemned those groups? You still can’t even acknowledge that Alex Jones has been directly responsible for the harassment of people who lost their children in a tragedy.
Dunno about the others, but Antifa really should be banned from Twitter. It's not even about free speech at that point. They actively plan violent activity and terrorism.
I have less issues with him being banned (for the record I don't support him in the slightest and he definitely has done certain things that could result in a ban under the rules of certain sites), but I am very concerned by the timing of all these bans: Initially all the big websites banned him within a 24 hour time frame or something along those lines, and just now he gets his app removed literally moments after getting banned from Twitter. Oh yeah and if we're going to ban offensive content creators like AJ, then we should honestly stop being hypocritical and ban everyone who do similarly awful things (regardless of their political affiliation).

He harasses people, and spreads easily provable falsehoods. Communities will be better places for not giving these people platforms to stand on and shout.

BTW, this is being examined. Lawmakers have been calling for regulation of social media to disallow censorship. Doubt it'll go anywhere. They're doing those hearings with tech corps like the ones with Facebook where they just asked stupid questions and tried to look good grilling Zuckerburg for a few days.
