FERRARIS HEADQUARTERS ALREADY HAS THIS TYPE OF IN-HOUSE ENVIRONMENT. GLAD TO SEE APPLE IS TAKING IT ONESTEP FURTHER. BTW FERRARIS HEADQUARTERS ENVIORNMENT HAS BETTER OXYGEN INSIDE THEN IT DOES OUTSIDE. AND SINCE APPLE IS IN CALIFORNIA, ACHIVING BETTER AIR QUALITY INSIDE SHOULD BE A BREEZE (pun intended) :D iDisk :apple:
Actually Apple already has this at their HQ. This is something new for the customer, not for Apple.

3rd Apple Store in a 2 mile radius here.

Yay! Score for Palo Alto.

But yeah... for those people also living here, don't you just love going with kids to trick-or-treat at Stevie's house? :p

What I find interesting in this, is that they are try to break the mold of what a store looks and feels like. Rather than making another box in a parking lot they are trying to create landmarks. How often do you go to a retail store and love the design and architecture. I can only hope other business's follow. Maybe we could eventually move away from the boxes in parking lots.

What a good, positive take on this. I fully agree. Target, Wal-Mart, Costco, are you noticing? It makes going to a store a delightful experience which puts me in a buying mood. :D

How many of you noticed this line?

"... service to business as well as customer patrons... " in amongst all the rest? This appears to be proof that Apple is aiming for the enterprise -- finally.

After I turned on my fanboy filter your post made sense. For those of you that don't have it; VinitaBoy is basically saying that personal opinions should match his own. He goes on to project his own personal emotional state and ends with a poorly-delivered, unoriginal Windows joke.

So you tell me, what can possibly be negative about this article other than people who have some kind of agenda against Apple?

Multi-quote?

Possibly, except that I didn't intend to be quoting multiple people. I reply as I read them, most of the time. Reduces the chance of getting, "Post not allowed because you have exceeded the number of quotes permitted."

You go to the enterprise, the enterprise doesn't come to you. ;)

Seriously, we'll have Dell or HP engineers onsite within hours of reporting a problem with a server. Next day for desktops and laptops.

I wouldn't take the wording on the document to mean any change in direction - or perhaps they'll have an "express line" or some type of concierge for small businesses that use Apples.

Haha

He's doing it at the "Palo Alto" location to prove that Apple has the "biggest stick" in the industry. Microsoft has the softest, smallest, stick in the industry.. We got big apples.. They got little nuts.

It's that simple.:D

I was at the opening of that Palo Alto store.

Saw Steve and his son. I'm 6'04" but he's short.

Also, got me a shirt! Do they still give out shirts at store openings?

Nah, I think they plan on closing the old one at the corner of Kipling after the new one opens. No change in total number of stores in the area.

I'm sure MS will swoop in and turn the old one into one of their innovative retail locations.
