There is no warning in the ad that it was simulated and that you cannot actually bounce your iPod, so it is safe to assume that bouncing your iPod won't cause any problems.

And this line of thinking is why, even in my country where it would be very difficult to litigate for my own stupidity, my coffee cup has "CAUTION HOT COFFEE IS HOT" written on it.

Does anyone else find it odd that apple went with a circle for the iPod nano's home button? Didn't they patent their specific iOS home button icon? It's supposed to resemble an iOS app icon (in shape, anyways.) The button with the icon design takes you to the grid of icons. Does the new Nano's interface not use a grid of icons like the 6th gen did?

These are way better than the last round of iPhone commercials. When's the next big iPod anniversary? They should bring back the dancing silhouettes for that.

It's still a grid but the icons are circular now.

You mean Apple isn't going to keep using the "genius" guy in their ads? How disappointing, I know so many people really loved that guy.

There will be other commercials. This was catchy. Good ad to display new iPods and colors. Everyone knows what an iPod is by now anyway.

Everybody knows what an iPhone is too, but that doesn't stop Apple from showing off the new screen, headphones, camera, or design in its commercials. Besides, there was only one commercial per iPod last year, and this year they all got thrown (literally) into one ad. I don't see why they'd make any more.

I wish they would come up with a really clever ad bashing samsung like mac vs. pc. I'm so sick of seeing that stupid samsung ad.

On a serious note, I think they could have integrated the loop in this ad very well. Hmm, maybe they'll make another for that, since they made such a big deal out of that at the event.

False advertising - the anodized coating would have scratched completely off if handled that way for 31 seconds

Ah man, I'm sick of it too. Worse, there's 2 of them... and one actor plays an Apple guy in one, and a Samsung guy in the other. Nothing in those ads shows a sign of marketing intelligence.

If I throw my nano on the ground, it also emits iPod shuffles on collision.
