Gapless playback is good news but oh dear, if new iPod "games" are the level of announcements - even at the beginning - then this is going to be a big, big disappointment of a keynote for some people... :p

Start small, end big. Why would they want to start big and end small?

Watch Apple CEO Steve Jobs deliver a special announcement from the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco. See the video-on-demand event right here exclusively in QuickTime and MPEG-4.

This is not going to be a live stream, folks.

80GB iPod?

that's bigger than my top-of-the-range Powerbook brand-new 1.5 years ago...

Yeah, same here, but I guess you need space to store all those movies from the Movie Store...

so far these new ipods don't make me want another one yet
i will keep mine for awhile.

erm 8GB Nano the same price as 60GB iPod and is 52% smaller??. How you gonna hold it

iLounge: 8GB is $249 in all colors
10:16 am iLounge: 4GB is $199 in all colors but black
10:16 am iLounge: 2GB is $149 in silver only

How stupid is that - this without this color, that with all colors...

I know, but new iPod games, a new Nano case, some slightly bigger iPods and a video streaming device + the iTunes movie store? Well it's barely worth sitting here for. ;)

Smaller?

Smaller? How is that possible? Half the thickness I bet. It is the Invisa!

All models are 52% smaller in volume than previous nano. new charger, new
armband, new lanyard
