If anyone still wants a direct link to the keynote, this is the link I used:
http://movies.apple.com/movies/us/podcast/apple_keynotes/wwdc2008.m4v
It downloads a 1.18GB movie file of the keynote. :)

Oh, the part showing 70 iPhone3G getting countries part was muted out. I'm guessing that they couldn't/wouldn't get the rights to 'redistribute' that song.

I got it from iTunes' podcast download info.plist. Had to download it using wget because iTunes would only download the first 250megs, then break and tell me I have gotten the whole file.

> Steve Jobs looking thin/gaunt/sickly
Yea! That was the first thing I noticed watching the keynote. First thought is he looks a bit ill, and rather too tan. I hoping that it is nothing more serious than Steve looking weathered from spending too much time out in the sun.

Shoot I watched the first version of the keynote with the song during the "70 countries" and that was awesome! I haven't heard that song in a long time. Honestly I think that was the best part of the whole keynote. The SDK part took a lot longer than I thought with all the demos. Does anyone have a recording of the "70 countries" part?

Here is a youtube video of it:

Thanks for the link. Does anyone know the official name of the song (It's a Small World obviously but it might have something extra) and the album it is from? I searched around and I always get the song sung in english, then in like 3 other languages. I really like the one from the keynote because it's only in english and it has a nice instrumental part to it.

Anyone notice the ActiveStink flub removed?

Phil Shiller made a flub in his presentation where he said "ActiveStink" instead of ActiveSync. Looks like it was an honest mistake and they removed it in the iTunes version.

download lost Small World too ?

Guess they couldn't get the rights to the music in the keynote download. The Small World music is lost, the whole audio segment was cut. too bad too, it was a great little segment, although he did look like he wanted it hurried up a bit.
