What is it going to be called? iPhone 6C or 6SC or 7C or just C? 3GB of RAM seem very fishy though, as we had to wait 3 years just for a RAM bump to 2GB. Regardless, I'm curious. Please no 16GB though.

All we need to do is look at the source of this rumor and realize we can ignore it.
Still with 16GB of storage.

You obviously are quite misinformed. Ming-chi kuo has been spot on several years in a row with iPhone predictions. If he says it, it's likely to happen. All we need to do is look at the source of this rumor and realize we can ignore it.
On the other hand, a lower cost iPhone would hit the spot. My 3GS still rocks and I don't really need all the performance of 6S so a slightly slower, smaller model would be great for upgrade time.
Why would they change the screen size? There is still apps not updated to support the 6 and 6 plus screen size...I think 32GB will become the base for the iPhone 7. I really wonder tho if they will keep the screen sizes the same 4.7" and 5.5".
Why does the GUI need a refresh? They just did that in 7... I'd say every 5 have a big overhaul. I'm more concerned with features and stability. Looks are a distant 12th. Btw, Apple Music app is pretty nice. It works well and is very stable. The only valid complaints were from iCloud music library people who came from Match. Those issues are resolved anyway so it's moot nowMy decision on getting the iPhone 7 will be determined by iOS 10. The iPhone hardware is better than it's ever been but goddamn iOS has been sucking since 7.0 so hopefully iOS 10 will bring a refreshed GUI (to match the new OS X), some useful features throughout the OS, more polished performance and hopefully a revamped music app to make up for the absolute POS app that was introduced in iOS 8.4. So basically, I know the iPhone hardware will undoubtably be great but if the software remains as crappy as it's been lately, I'm afraid I can't justify the purchase of a new iPhone (or iPad for that matter).
But Apple's version of early. So anywhere between January 1st and April 24th. Probably pushing more towards April...Early 2016? What?
