Yep. We have soap and wipes too, you know. It's not an outhouse. Are the other family members who use the same iPad aware that you use it in the toilet?

I am admittedly going out on a (short) limb and guess that you have never used an iPad with a mouse or touchpad. The comment was that MacOS (with its interface and pointer). Which implies the iPad has a keyboard and mouse in use.
Since everything I wrote in my other reply to this post is factually correct, to what do you disagree?Ugh I’m really understanding now that people are purposely trying to argue for no reason. You know exactly what I said and just like the previous poster you’re cherry-picking my post to satisfy your non-point. Originally a member stated that people buy iPads to do work they CAN’T do on a Mac. I replied saying “besides drawing on the screen what CAN’T one do on a Mac?” This has nothing to do with streamlining. If you don’t get it then I can’t help you.
I have and I like it. And I expect if the Mac interface and small pointer were offered I’d like that too.I am admittedly going out on a (short) limb and guess that you have never used an iPad with a mouse or touchpad.
You can buy any Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Silly.Did they mention that your next computer also needs a $250+ keyboard-trackpad to work as advertised?
If MacOS is optimized to work with a small pointer on an iPad-sized screen(11”) you aren’t likely to like the touch experience. If MacOS is optimized for a touch interface on an iPad-sized screen it will likely feel cramped as the previous poster said. This will never be a case of “two great tastes that taste great together”.I have and I like it. And I expect if the Mac interface and small pointer were offered I’d like that too.

I still can’t figure out why so many people are hung up on MacOS on an iPad. Even with a keyboard and mouse you will all bitch about the lack of ports. What you all really want is a MacBook Air with a touchscreen and a 180 degree hinge.
Awful!! Consumerism, junk in our world... what a **** show!
In a currently unlisted ad on YouTube, Apple is promoting the versatility, portability, and power of the M1 iPad Pro in a fun musical inspired by The Little Mermaid's "Part of Your World" soundtrack.
In the ad, which features the main character using an M1 iPad Pro, Magic Keyboard, and Apple Pencil, multiple users can be seen struggling with their old PCs indoors while hoping that they can someday use an iPad Pro instead. The lyrics and soundtrack of the ad are completely based around The Little Mermaid's "Part of Your World," but the visuals tell the majority of the story.
In one scene, an office employee using an old Windows PC can be seen looking out at a girl using an iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard in a park while singing "up where they walk, up where they run, up where they stay all day in the sun." The ad ends with all the characters singing "wish I could be, part of that world," referencing the world of using an iPad Pro.
The ad, uploaded on June 4, is currently unlisted on YouTube, meaning only those with a link will be able to watch it. It's unclear why Apple has decided not to make it public or if it plans to in the near future.

That’s a baseless generalization. Your view seems to be people (the masses) are not knowledgeable…how in earth do people buy cars?Um no the ad is misleading. That’s the issue. So many people will not know the limitations of iPadOS, buy the iPad based on thinking they can replace their 10 year old laptop computer, and rooks buy cars then.then be disappointed for wasting their money.
