Just thought I'd reinforce this. The iPhone 6 keynote was an absolute joke! I'm sure they have got their act together this time round, but also I can only imagine that the traffic will be significanty lower for the iPad event so hopefully these issues don't happen again!
Well, the chinese translation had nothing to do with bandwidth problems. And that was the most embarrassing part of the whole catastrophe.

It was so bad I almost thought they did it on purpose as another way of demonstrating their commitment to the China market.

I could never imagine Apple ever doing this

I'm not taking chances, I'll get my Indian translator ready this time.
native indian / east-indian, of which there are 100 languages

I'm so excited. This is going to be a truly amazing event. I'm off to the shops soon to stock up on goodies for a viewing party I'm hosting. Anyone else hosting one today?

on-call :mad::mad:

I found it interesting last time thinking 'Is anyone else experiencing these issues?' as previously it's been flawless streaming.

Also spared a thought for Tim who was going on about his business, blissfully unaware that whilst the keynote was occurring he'd be kept in the dark about the streaming issues until afterwards. I wonder if heads eventually rolled...

Let's face it, many people would not only watch online live but also download the podcast later and watch it again :apple:

I used to do that when Steve was presenting, but I teach, and I really liked how he paced his presentations. Tim is good, but isn't as smooth. Now I'll watch it between classes, and then download it when I get home so the lady can see it.

Hopefully they will have learnt from the last time.

I bet there is no live blogging on their home page :D

Looking forward to the event, but not necessarily in the market to buy any of it. I'm kinda hoping the new iPads won't be a case of, "Ooh look, we made them faster and now with TouchID" because I think the iPad needs to move in a new direction. This is the main reason I'm not upgrading my iPad Air.

New Macs will be nice to see including the fabled Retina MacBook Air 12". Would also be nice to see some sort of Retina iMac make an appearance and along with that, a Retina Thunderbolt Display (which I may well be in the market for). Can't see what they can do with the MacBook Pro apart from internals boost. Of course, the long awaited Mac Mini will hopefully make an appearance for y'all who've been waiting so patiently.

What I'm mostly excited about is seeing what the next direction for the Apple TV is. A device we use in our household a lot, so it would be nice for Apple to move that out of the 'hobby' status and release something new. Maybe even a whole new product category for the TV?

Will also be interesting to see if Yosemite gets a release today and whether they've added any last minute features (and fixed the last remaining bugs!!)

:apple:FANS rejoice!

Ps. I'd kinda like to see a price reduction on the Thunderbolt Display, but if they're planning to make it Retina (4K or 5K?) then I can't see that happening anytime soon!

How much you want to bet that Tim announces that the iPhone 6 is outselling the 6+ by some huge margin (without mentioning the fact that they only made a handful of 6 + models)?

Any idea how can i watch this event in my pc on google chrome ?
No Apple is the most crazy company inthe world at 2014, request a certain OS and browser to watch a live stream idiots!

There was this guy Steve Jobs who said HTML5 will make everything so great as soon as we dump Flash

Call me bonkers for not waiting 5 hours, but i just ordered a Mac Mini :D

You're bonkers. Wait 5 hours and you'll likely see something faster, new, with a new design for the same price or less.

Bonkers I say, BONKERS.

Just day dreaming thinking how cool would it be if Intel has delivered the Broadwell chips to Apple already!!! Wow! Maybe I should alert my bank just in case:rolleyes:
