What happens if your iPP 9,7 is already updated and working fine?
Having had one of the bricked devices, I am wondering if there is something hardware-related to it. Not all iPad Pro 9.7" models are affected, and there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it (e.g. it isn't as if it is just LTE or Wi-Fi models). That said, I noticed that even before the update, my old iPad Pro was giving me an error message occasionally with the Smart Keyboard (saying it was an unauthorized accessory) and was draining overnight when the keyboard was attached. I was about to schedule a Genius appointment to replace the keyboard when 9.3.2 bricked it. So far I haven't noticed that with the replacement. Not saying there is necessarily a causal relationship, just that it is a possibility. How does this stuff slip past QA?
Maybe, but I don't know how relevant this is to the case at hand, iOS updates aren't automatic.oh my, ... they should really do some more QA before pumping out automatic OTA software updates, ...
Yeah, how dare they offer iPads and iPhones in multiple screen sizes or even go as far as offer OS updates for older devices. How about too many different devices now to test everything on all of them. There's are reasons Jobs simplified the lineup. Spreading a little too thin lately.
Eh. Confused. Pls explain.Maybe, but I don't know how relevant this is to the case at hand, iOS updates aren't automatic.
What are those us with iPad Pro 9.7" already on 9.3.2 supposed to do? Downgrade or stay on 9.3.2 and hope for the best?

Of course, for those for whom it downloaded but has not yet installed, we are still getting the daily prompts. I got my replacement device within a day, but it downloaded the update while it was connected to Wi-Fi. I haven't dared install it yet.
Yes. I was just about to update my post. Go into Settings>General>Storage & iCloud Usage. You will see the iOS 9.3.2 update listed in the downloads (it was about 250MB). You can tap on it and delete it. After you do that, System Update will confirm 9.3.1 is the most up to date.Is there anyway we can delete the download?

Is there any way we can delete the download?
