This is like the comments on their YouTube videos- oh wait...
Those never existed.
Maybe Apple should allow only signed-in people with Apple ID's to comment.
So that clearly means that it is impossible that anyone else in the country, or the world for that matter, would have a problem with an Apple cable. Come on! Really? You cannot be that naive.
I prefer to chill the goose people.
It is to stop negative reviews and comments of its products, its that simple.
Some are saying that's it stop fake reviews. Well, Apple encourages fake reviews by giving out its product to many youtubers who are afraid to criticise the product lest they never get free products or stop getting invited by Apple.
Perhaps, but why not communicate what is happening? Honest and prompt information is one of the basic tenets of well executed PR but this seems to be a foreign concept to Cook. Sad....sad....
Whenever I had to exchange a broken lightning cable, smart battery case, or MagSafe charger, they’d always comment how they had never seen this happen before. I’d then ask if it was their first day, because their own website has 10’s of thousands of 1 star reviews for them breaking so easy. I would have never brought this up if they didn’t try to lie about never seeing this before.
If you were able to detect the fake reviews, perhaps everyone else could too, so the fake reviews are doing nothing.Apple good or Apple bad? I don't know. But I do know reviews were being gamed…
Are you buying from Amazon or eBay? Many of those are cheap counterfeits. With the exception of one lightning cable (that I don’t use), all the rest have broken for me. Most of my MagSafe chargers have broken, and both my smart battery cases broke. Not that they worked well initially, they didn’t like anything plugged in to the lightning port.
Youtube reviewers could possibly have had the case hours after it was announced, so that review might not necessarily be fake. They get the products directly from Apple up to a week before they go on sale for the general public and post their unboxing and review videos during that time as soon as Apple lets them. iJustine, for example, always gets the new iPhones around a week before they go on sale (around the same time when preorders open for everyone else) and posts her unboxing and review videos at least three days before launch day. Also, there have been some new products that have been available at Apple Stores right after the keynote where they were announced, so anyone could get them and review them on the website just hours after their announcement. This includes accessories such as new Apple Watch bands.Even though it was a 5 star review it was a fake review because no one could possibly have the case hours after Apple announced the case. Hopefully Apple will have a “verified” purchase like amazon and bestbuy has.
I wouldn’t mind if those bad reviews are legitimate. For the same products, the rating on Amazon With verified purchase is usually 2 or 3 stars higher. It's funny how when an Apple product has bad reviews, Apple lovers would say those reviews were written by Apple haters. Because of course, Apple would never make a bad product or overcharge for it. SMH.
Apple cables do not like constant sunlight and dryness. I have had maybe 50+ lightning cables and have seen at least 5 of them fail because they lived in my cars.
Of course we do. And you actually believe that somehow that also magically gives you the right, the right, to post about it on someone else’s website?? My god. Please tell us where this “right” comes from. And then please share this reference with the thousands upon thousands of web vendors who don’t have review sections on their web sites. In fact, please share with my supermarket, as well as every store in the world, because I don’t remember seeing reviews next to all the products on their shelves. After all, this “right” to display your opinion on someone else’s property can’t possibly be restricted to web commerce.we have the right to say if we dislike a product!

Apple is becoming more obnoxious and arrogant than Microsoft ever was.
Don't worry, the Ministry of Truth will keep us safe from committing thoughtcrime. Quack quack quack.
Since Apple is a company (so nothing against Apple pre se) it should read:You and your money are very important to us!!!!
*Your opinions, not so much....
