It figures. My 2.1 refurb is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I guess for what I plan on using it for it's not that big a deal. $150 more to get this new revision, I think I'll stick with what I bought.
It stings a little, but it happens all the time. Not as bad as when they put a $2000 rebate on my car 2 weeks AFTER I bought it.
That's right! and $300 less also gets you a more variety of expansion choices. Like FW400
But you also miss out on the Glass trackpad.. This thing is a beauty once you get used to it. I find myself using it on my home desk when I have a full mice/keyboard set... haha.
Now the MB vs. MBAir vs. Alu MB choice becomes even tougher than it was...
Get the mac mini's updated 'silently' already

A very good sine indeed!indeed this may be a good sine for the mini
Hey I just noticed this. It's Wednesday. What's up with that?
I was kind of upset a few minutes ago(really pissed actually) because I had hoped it would be killed completely and the two aluminums' prices dropped, probably added another option. But now I realize this means Apple just wants to finish off the stock of plastic cases/non LED displays and all that. I guess an update can still be a month or two away(aka Fare well, whitey!)
Yes it is!USB sucks for external drives.
Firewire 400 is worth over $100.
The Unibody is looking expensive now.
At the October'08 event, they show a plastic MacBook and they it's their best-seller... I personally took it as meaning people preferred plastic to metal as is my case. Check out the video see how you interpret it. It's at 38:14.
