Yeah, I've not heard much good about the app, people are not happy with the major overhaul that occurred with the app recently.

What's got me confused is why they won't let people buy the Nike Plus bands separately, it seems silly to me, many of us want to have the different colours and back ups.

If I'm not wrong the Nike Run Club app wasn't yet updated to support Series 2. I'm waiting for this because it's unusable without phone right now.

Yeah and super lame it won't play local music off the watch through the app - will only play music from you phone, so you have to take your phone with you to run. Kinda defeats the purpose...

Why does the website say there is a complication with this device? I tweeted apple about this long ago when it used to say permanent complication and they just removed the word permanent. Uhhh?

"There’s also a complication for launching the Nike+ Run Club app."

It's starting to get a bit late for a late October event don't you think? No announcements, no rumors, nothing! They didn't have an October event last year so March seems more likely in my opinion. Plus those extra 4 months would mean Apple will skip an intel generation and release the latest processors instead of giving us 6+ month old cpus this month.

Also, iPad Pro's will be announced in March so I doubt there being 2 separate events for both.

I doubt any laptops will be released around this time then.. Apple wouldn't want laptop refreshes to overshadow Apple Watch or ear phone launches.

I am also leaning towards this. Seems unlikely that new macs will arrive in October. But I need a new iMac badly, preferably with the Polaris GPU...SSD as standard. Otherwise I'll have to build a Hackintosh, but I'm old....

Why does it require different hardware, why can't it be like a skin you buy for $99, so you could try an Adidas version or whatever? I can imagine a lot of sports brands would have their own ideas.

Of course this is just a guess, but I'm thinking there will be something later this month.
I'd love to see all new MBP's but if not, then maybe a quiet online announcement of a new larger 14" Macbook?

I say this because right now going into the holiday season, what does Apple have?
Just new Apple Watches and iPhone 7. Everything other product is dated old stock (which is really sad).

F*ck it, I've been waiting to buy a 2.5k$ MacBook Pro for a long time. Please Apple, at least give me the announcement date.

Soon that $2500 is going to someone other than Apple. Sad day that will be.
[doublepost=1476457897][/doublepost]The fact that you need to buy a Nike "version" of the watch, which has identical hardware components, to use the Nike software is utterly outrageous.

(Sarcasm implied)

My money is no event and no new macs before January. Tim wouldn't miss the opportunity to praise these new watch bands onstage with a mac release too. Probably killing him to have a quiet release mention online.
