according to Zollo we will not be seeing this OTA only can update through the internet. Just curious if this has any barring on Ios 17.6.2
PSA: DO NOT install the updated 17.6.1 via IPSW.
My 13P went into data recovery mode and looks like it might be there for a while.
EDIT: All my data was intact so could’ve been an anomaly. But be sure to backup if you have a 13Pro.

Apple has released a new version of iOS 17.6.1, which debuted nearly two weeks ago. However, you may or may not see it as an OTA download.

If you are on 17.6.1 already, update this new version through iTunes.
If your day is any better than mine you shouldn't have a problem updating to the new build.
it sounds optional. I guess if your having the battery issues you should update. If Ios 17.6.2 hasn't been canceled then just update to that wednesday

Oh man, I had fire alarm today, then elevators were non working in 42-stories building, then I went to subway on my way to office to just find out that my line is closed for the week. Not gonna try any updates today 😂
My 12 Pro was on 17.6.1 21G93. I connected my phone to iTunes for Windows. I was immediately offered the update, which went smoothly. I now have 17.6.1 build 21G101.

That's nice, but some of us don't have Windows PCs. How am I supposed to update my iPhone SE (2nd generation)?

Using the same version number for an update is just more of Tim Cook's cluelessness. The things that Clueless Cook does would've never happened if Steve Jobs was still CEO.

Maybe try updating when connected your Mac. No idea. Not risking it.
